Good College as a Backup option to top tier universities.

Overall Rating
The education here is really good and competes with other top tier colleges. Computer Science is a really good option to choose this college for. There are multiple opportunities related to computer science. Studies are very good and the courses offered are also flexible. Students also have the option to design their own degree, i.e., They can choose the courses they want to study at their own flexible timetable with a faculty of their interest and at a slot they wish. These reasons found me really interested in the college.
 

Academics Rating
The VITEEE is one way of admission to the college, besides VITEEE, you can also get admitted in the college via 12th marks and get enrolled in Integrated M.Tech. The courses offered here are B.Tech, M.Tech, BBA, Law, Ph.D, and MBA. All of them have their own entrance examination. For computer science interested students, this college will be a good option in terms of studies and career growth.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are from different backgrounds. From IIT's, and various other top tier faculties. They train students very well and give good educational training. They also encourage students to work on real time projects and give them various opportunities to work on and prepare them for real world problems and challenges. They are also very student friendly, and give attention and care towards students. They emphasize on practical learning.
 

Placement Rating
The placements here are top notch. FAANG companies and companies like, IBM, Dell, DW Shaw, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and more visit the college for recruiting students. The average package for B.Tech students is 10-12 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is pretty mid but the mess is much better than any other colleges in India. The rooms are also pretty decent and they offer 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10,15- bed sharing rooms with AC and NON-AC options. In mess, they offer Veg, Non-Veg and Special mess. I get charged around 2 lakh per annum for a 2-bed Special Mess including Laundry.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are a total of 3 academic blocks, namely, Central Block, Academic Block 1 and Academic Block 2. There is one central air-conditioned library. Besides hostels and Library, no other area in the campus is air conditioned. All classrooms are NON AC except for computer labs. The infrastructure stills needs development and is undergoing development. The sports activities are decent with 2 basketball courts, 1 shared football and cricket ground, 1 badminton arena, caroms, chess, and one squash court. One air conditioned gym is also available for students but we have to pay for that.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is pretty monotonous and low. The campus is situated in a very deserted area and the Vijayawada town also nothing much to offer and there are not much activities to do. But the annual fest is too good. Renowned artists come for the fest and the fest is just a banger. It's better than a lot of top colleges and is nothing less than SUNBURN event.

    Like in these college there are all average things, like some of the students are getting good hostels and some them are getting bad hostels facilities. Sometime food is awesome sometimes like maybe you going to vomit. Some faculties are good enough but some of them don't know the concepts. As a fresher in this college we are satisfied by the environment and people all around. When you have the determination to study and win in life everything fits right.   • Student oriented academic schedule

    Our university has average infrastructure. The professors are very intelligent, and the university offers better campus placements. The timetable is flexible, and we can choose our professor and set our timetable. This made me choose VIT over other universities. If we talk about infrastructure, then the classrooms are also nice. There are breaks in between the classes for students to relax. The only disadvantage is the distance between the classrooms which makes us walk for a while.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    This is a good University with average package 11 LPA for CSE students and overall package 9 LPA. Here we can find so many different language speaking people where we have to team up and do the project and assignments given by the faculty together. This improves our social skills. We can also learn different languages here. We can enjoy with friends and have a good time. There is more exposure in VIT AP and that's the reason why I chose this University.... Read Full Review
