Overall Rating
First of all the reason I choose this particular institute is the environment it provides to the students. Here teachers are very friendly. I have never faced any problem such as being bullied by others in my college life. It provides everything that a student’s wants and my overall experience of the institute is very good.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I pursued is economics. First of all you have to fill up the form which is available in Darrang College website for entry and have to bring a print out copy of that. In my subject the last cutoff for general caste was 81 percentages.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members who teach us are very friendly and are always ready to help. They always support us whenever we need them. Their style of teaching is very extraordinary. They try to teach us the detail concepts of any topics. Their background is also great the Hod of our department was the topper of Gauhati University in Math.
 

Placement Rating
I really don't know much about placement cells whether the college provides or not if anyone really wants to know about placement cells they can get in touch with our principal sir. He is very friendly and he will explain everything whether there are any placement cells or not. He is a very humble person.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have residential facilities in our institute. The hostel life is very amazing the students are very friendly and there is no sign of ragging. The infrastructure of the hostel is usually big with 3 floors apartment. The hostel is usually under the college campus so the students are provided with various sports equipment and facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The structure of the campus is very big. There are different blocks for different streams, such as science arts and commerce. Apart from that there is an administrative block, a big library, an indoor stadium, a gym, a canteen, a big field, a new academic building for class 11 and 12 students a big gallery and a big cultural block.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life in our institute is amazing. The crowds are generally huge and the college generally organised various programs such as Bihu celebration, college organises farewell programs for seniors and freshers program for juniors, cultural rally etc. I really enjoyed a lot in my institute.

    Darrang College Tezpur is situated in the middle of the town in a beautiful city of Tezpur. This college is a well known and well recognised college in entire Assam. This college has good faculty members. The education system is also good it provides a huge library with digital and well known books.
