College Review on K.S. Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
K.S. Institute of Technology has good infrastructure and facilities. The teachers are supportive and give guidance regarding ones career. This college provides great trainings and placements with recognised trainers. The college mostly focuses towards hackathons and projects that help build students abilities to learn things at a better level. The ambiance of this university is great for creating a studious atmosphere.
 

Academics Rating
Various courses provided here are computer science and engineering, electronics and communication, computer science and design, artificial intelligence and machine learning, mechanical engineering etc. Eligibility for enrollment depends upon ones KCET or COMEDK rank.
 

Faculty Rating
Our college has well qualified faculty members. The teachers encourage students to up take other relevant courses and guide students in building up projects.
 

Placement Rating
The college has a separate department for placement training. Placement training starts from the first semester itself and is conducted once in every semester. The college brings good trainers to assist the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are provided both for girls and boys. The girl’s hostel is located near the college where as the boy’s hostel is located in another campus but transportation facilities are provided to the boys. Good and hygienic food is served.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is well built with classrooms and proper laboratories. The college provides a good library, canteen facilities and parking space for vehicles. All the departments have separate faculty groups.
 

Campus Rating
Each section consists of around 65 students. The college has separate music club, dance club, art and creative club, literature club, drama club and media club. All clubs are united under the cultural team to take part in the most awaited event, “ANANYA” - the college fest.

    When I had visited my college for the first time, the best thing I liked about it was, the faculties were friendly and not arrogant. According to my rank in the COMEDK exam I felt that the K.S. Institute of Technology would be the best option. I still feel the same way after joining this institute. It is really one of the best colleges in Bangalore.     I'm in 4th semester now. I got admitted to KSIT through COMEDK. I preferred this college mainly because of it's in the main road and hostel is very near to college. And I asked seniors and alumni about the courses, academics and placements, all I heard was positive reviews. My suggestion is if you are searching for good college with good academics and hostel facility, this is the best College. But if you are looking for good infrastructure, then you have to think twice.     KSIT is a good college and has many opportunities for students in aspect of academics and co curriculum activities. The management and the faculties are good. Many fest/cultural events are conducted to showcase their talents. Teachers are very supportive and interact really well with the students.   • KSIT will help you get placed in great companies

    After studying in Kerala, which is known for its greenery and huge college campus, coming to KSIT was weird. The campus of KSIT is small but decent. The crowd is mostly of students from southern states and Gujarat. Not many North East students with whom I have spent a fair bit of time in Kerala.   • KSIT is a safe investment

    KSIT is located a little far from Bangalore city and is, on the whole, I would say, a decent enough college. The campus is quite small, and therefore there's no place inside the campus to hang around, plus it is quite far from the main city. To watch a movie on Sunday, we had to travel 12 miles as the nearest cinema was that far. CS branch is the best, but TC/Mechanical is kind of okayish.
