CU Review of academic and campus life

Overall Rating
Chandigarh University has a lively campus life with various cultural festivals and events happening regularly. The annual "CU Fest" is a highlight, along with other events. Students enjoy a vibrant evening life with facilities like the DACA department (cultural affairs). The campus also features many food stalls, making it a great place to socialize and have fun.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at Chandigarh University is designed to equip students with the necessary skills to excel in this field. The curriculum and study materials are comprehensive and sufficient to prepare students for exams. To be eligible for this program, students must pass the CUCET exam, ensuring they meet the necessary standards.
 

Faculty Rating
Chandigarh University has teachers with different levels of experience. Some professors have been teaching for a long time and know their subjects very well. Others are newer to teaching, but they also bring fresh ideas and perspectives. This mix of teachers helps students learn from different styles and experiences, making their education more interesting and engaging.
 

Placement Rating
Chandigarh University works on improving the students’ aptitude and soft skills from the students 2nd semester with regular practice during the academic session. Regular activities, surprise test, quizzes, DCPD mock test are conducted. This comprehensive approach ensures students are well-prepared for their final placements, providing them with the necessary skills and confidence to succeed in their careers.
 

Hostel Rating
Chandigarh University's hostels provide 24x7 securities, and various facilities like gyms, reading rooms. Experienced wardens guarantee a secure and comfortable remain. The campus has a dynamic social life with social occasions, clubs, and committees organizing national-level competitions.
 

Infrastructure Rating
While some departments have well-maintained facilities, others lack air-conditioning and computers. The campus offers amenities like banks, convenience stores, medical facilities, and gyms to support student life. Overall the institution is well built but certain departments do lack the basic necessities.
 

Campus Rating
CU has a vibrant campus life with regular cultural festivals and events. The university hosts the annual "CU Fest", a national cultural festival, as well as other events like the "CU Theatre Festival", "CU Heritage Festival", and various club activities. The evening life is active with facilities like a Student Activities Center, sports facilities and more.

    Here, campus life is too good for students. They organize many events for the students’ development. There is a balance between studies and co-curricular activities.     I found this university good. I won't say it is the best university to study in but yeah it is worth studying if you aren't able to get admission in any NLU or any other better law college. Our department, I will say is the best department of the university. We have learned a lot of things from the university so far.     Overall, Chandigarh University is one of the best universities in India in the aspect of infrastructure, campus, co-curricular activities, sports, on-campus placements, hostel facilities, faculty, academics, etc. I choose Chandigarh University because of its good reputation for on-campus placements and academics.
