Ramakrishna Mission Residential College - My Views

Overall Rating
The particular reason for choosing this institution is the academic purpose. Regular classes are taken by our professors daily by time to time. And also the campus life of this institution is good. Students can't distract from their study. Students can play many games in a large playground inside the campus.
 

Academics Rating
Students have to pass the admission test to get admission in this college. This college has B.Sc honors degree in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science and BA Honors in Bengali, English, History, Sanskrit, Philosophy, Political Science and also M.Sc degrees in Computer Science, Chemistry, and English. Students would have to get a minimum numbers given by the college in the HS examination for qualifying in the admission test.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of our college are very good, well educated and student friendly. They all have completed their master degrees and some of them have also completed their Ph.D degrees. The faculty members are friendly and always ready to help us when we face any types of problems in academic purposes and also in non academic purposes.
 

Placement Rating
Because we have very few master degree courses so our placement cell is not very much active now but some of them like Computer Science department is very much active.
 

Hostel Rating
There are four hostel buildings in our college. The under graduate and post graduate students all live here in these four buildings. Our hostel life is very enjoyable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Two main college buildings are there. One is four storied building and another is eight storied building. Both have the lift facilities. And there are four hostel buildings in our campus and one swimming pool. The under graduate and post graduate students live in those four buildings. There is a library and also an e-library in our college building.
 

Campus Rating
We can enjoy very much. Our campus has a very large playground. We can play football, cricket, and volleyball. And also we can play table tennis in our hostel buildings.

    I took admission in this college since it is the best university for statistics following the Indian Statistical Institute. The faculty here is very friendly and always ready to help you regardless of academics or personal matters. Another main reason for choosing this college is fantastic sports facilities.     Overall Rating
    After giving HS, I had too many opportunities to get admitted in various colleges as I got above 90%. I also filled up in 5 colleges like SXC Kolkata, Midnapore College, City College, Asutosh College, etc. but then my uncle told me about the Ramakrishna Mission. The divine place where not only education is given but also good manners, good personality, good human, etc. are taught. Then I gave admission test here and admitted here.     Our college is situated at Narendrapur. Here we get some teachers who teach us very well. Here environment is too good; you get many interesting games beside studies.
