CSJMU (Kanpur University) BCA Review By Shresth Pal

Overall, environment of university campus is very good either you are a day scholar or hosteller. It is very eco-friendly and safe campus. It is best for a student who wants experience and good environment. Although its placement rate is quite low. Professors and staffs are friendly. Basic facilities are there with a big stadium (biggest stadium of all colleges), gym, swimming pool, and a water pool for visitors, Wi-Fi, and big library. Recently our CSJMU is graded with NAAC A++ grading. Our VC is elected as president of all universities association.

BCA is provided by University campus with 360 seats. It has direct admission based on Merit. It has 4 computer labs with around 400 - 500 personal systems. Overall, faculty is good. BCA comes under UIET Kanpur. If you are interested in Computer Science and not want to study more or not want to do engineering then go for BCA. But if you want full time engineering then do BE.

Faculty is very friendly. Here every section got a personal mentor for a year. Teaching style varies from teacher to teacher but they are good. Our classrooms are cleaned on regular basis. Our college is added with smart learning. Every classroom has smart board. Faculty is friendly with good nature.

Everything is fine. But placement rate of our college is quite low. If you are very good at study and communication skills then you have a chance. Cisco, IBM, TCS, Infosys, etc. are some of the leading companies that came here. The University organizes a common placement (Rojgar Mela) with department placement too.

Infrastructure of University campus is very good. Cleanliness is done properly. Every building or department contains water cooler with RO on very floor. There is a centre library and a cafeteria with good amenities. E-bus is run by campus in campus for students. College campus contains departments, central library, auditorium, swimming pool, water pool, medicine garden, botanical garden, stadium, parking area, computer lab, Wi-Fi campus, banks (Union Bank Of India, BOB, SBI), and separate hostel. It has NCC and NSS.

College life is average. Because it is a state government University so there is no fests. University campus is divided into departments. Every department has its own clubs, fests and activities. University has NCC and NSS. Different activities are allowed like boxing, taekwondo, self defense, etc. Various activities are organised here for fun. It has various clubs like hobby club, robotics club, coding club, cyber club, dance club, music club and many more clubs.
