Overall Rating
A great and amazing college with bare minimum fee structure which provides so many different courses at a cheaper price and very fine teachers with immense knowledge and great experience of teaching. The faculty of the college is very fine and nice. It provides various opportunities to enhance and boost knowledge of students. The college also focuses on physical fitness of students and organises many sports events. The college also has a faculty of NCC which has really helped the defense aspirants to serve their country with pride in various defense fields of our nation.
 

Academics Rating
Motiram Baburam Government Post Graduate College provides all the government courses for bachelors including Arts, Commerce, Science, Biotech etc. it also provides subjects like music, drawing, aerobics, dance and many more. It is the only college in the city to provide Ph.D degree and Masters in Psychology degree. The college also works on quality education for all and takes a bare minimum amount as admission fee. For freshers the entry is based on their 12th passing certificate for admission and some other documents like Character and Migration certificate with a photocopy of Adhar card.
 

Faculty Rating
The college is a government college and provides the government courses except the honors courses in any field. The teachers are mostly from the primary school background and mostly focus on the students from the similar educational background. The mode of teaching in some courses like Bachelors of Arts and other is Hindi which can be a difficult thing for the students coming from the English medium schools.
 

Placement Rating
I personally didn't get any placement from the college because I've only pursued my degree for Bachelor of Arts.
 

Hostel Rating
No the government college does not provide accommodation facility.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is not a very big college by area but big enough for students to enjoy many sports and other workshop facilities. There are many departmental buildings and there are more than 150 rooms in the college for classes, the college has office building, library building, departmental buildings and other hall building etc. There are more than 20 buildings in the college and some new are under construction.
 

Campus Rating
The government college provides best faculties under such a cheaper price and the fraternity is also amazing. The people around students are so good and even some of the foreign students also study in the college. They are mostly from Africa, South America and East European or Slavic countries. I really had a great time there. I participated in different college programs and enjoyed some college fests. This college is like a dream college for every student because it works on no boundations policy for students, it gives opportunity to every student to do whatever he / she wants to do.

    I am enrolled in B.Com (regular) course in Motiram Baburam Graduate Postgraduate College. I am currently in 4 sem. The admission process here is very simple. You need to apply online via KUMAUN University website. The course fees are also very reasonable. The college has good infrastructure with proper greenery.     The experience in the college was good, the seniors are helpful. Located in the Centre of heart of the city so you would easily get any transport facility to the institute.
