Honest Review on KMC, Delhi

Overall Rating
Well I think it was a pretty wise decision to choose my current course, Statistics Honours and pursue my future in the same. Kirori Mal College is the second top college after The Hindu University that provides the best course of statistics Honours. It was such an honour to be able to clear off the exam and get enrolled in this college. I think it was my best decision.
 

Academics Rating
This course is completely different from other courses as it is very practical and relatable to our current lives. The entry fee of my college is quite affordable. To be eligible for this course one must get at least 50% in 12th standard and then get through CUET to get into this college. If you want to pursue the field data science, business analyst or data analysis, this is the best course you can go for. Also you will be getting really good placements here.
 

Faculty Rating
Oh, this is something that needs to be appreciated! The teachers are really friendly in nature. They are always there when we need some help or any guidance. Sometimes, if you get scared and hesitating in taking up a step, let me tell you this, talk to your teachers or your department members, you will really feel comfortable in reaching out to them and will be relieved of a burden.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell. It is really popular and good as it provides us with the daily updates for internships and placements for freshers and second year students. It is also really helpful for securing a job by getting placements in the third year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have a boy’s hostel which is not really a great topic to talk about as a girl. The hostel itself is pretty average, and to be honest not so safe. The hostel canteen food is pretty decent and the infrastructure too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
That's a really great deal as we have received funds of approximately 12 crores to get our auditorium reconstructed. Also there are certain parts in the campus that are getting reconstructed like the girl’s common room and the college canteen. Other than that, almost every class is air conditioned and the building is decent too, electricity is available all the time and water too that is chilled as it is summer, so yeah pretty good.
 

Campus Rating
I think every day I see a new different clubbier society or fests and events going on, this is really attractive and quite fascinating to be a part of. People come from various societies and departments from other colleges to attend the fests and events. The crowd is just amazing. Everyone is so friendly in nature and open minded. You can make friends quickly and that's something I really enjoy.

    My overall experience at Kirorimal College, University of Delhi has been good till now. It has a diverse set of students from all streams - Commerce, Science and Arts. It has a good crowd though it is politically active. It is situated in North Campus. You can easily sign up for events happening in the nearby colleges and take part there. You'll get to interact with other people. The College’s back gate opens in Kamala Nagar. So, you can find PGs nearby. It was in my top 5 preference list.... Read Full Review
