Overall Rating
BSMCH is one of the very good government medical colleges in West Bengal. Though it is a peripheral college, it is well equipped with modern amenities and is on par with medical colleges in Kolkata. It was established in 1921 as part of freedom movement. It is a 100 year old college.
 

Academics Rating
The college has a very good academic that made it quite popular. Anyone who qualifies NEET can enter into this college for MBBS. The college will bring out the good in you and you will be a good doctor after completion of course. It also provides opportunity for other courses such as nursing, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The overall faculty in the college is very good. All the professors teaching us are highly qualified. They not only teach us about academic things but also how to manage patients, how to comfort them, how to provide quality treatment, and everything one needs to know become a good doctor.
 

Hostel Rating
Undergraduates have 3 hostels. All the basic facilities are there in hostel that one need in a day to day life.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has developed a lot in last year including a super specialty building where they provide quality treatment to patients. Recently many modern techniques and equipment are provided in hospital. Many major and complicated surgeries have been done recently. Though the hospital is equipped with various modern equipment it needs to be developed more.
 

Campus Rating
Our college has two campuses one for 1st year and another for rest of the years. As the college is in a rural area there is more than enough patient flow. Our college organises two fests, one is Nucleus and another the main event is college fest that is SNAPSE.
