Student Life at Bethune College

Overall Rating
Bethune College is one of the oldest and best girl’s colleges in Bengal. The teachers are highly qualified and extremely helpful. The academics are very good and provide quality education. The campus life is very vibrant since there is a very rich and supportive environment. Recently, it has been rated A+ by the NAAC.
 

Academics Rating
To take admission in this college, one needs to score almost 90% in their 12th standard. The fee is low but the college provides the best education facilities. The faculty is very nice and gives great guidance. The environment of the college is so supportive and gives off studious vibes. Most of the pass outs are successful.
 

Faculty Rating
For each subject there are different teachers. Everyone is very highly educated and has done their PhDs. Some of them have their own research paper published. We can seek help from them about our career as well as subjects whenever we want They are friendly and constantly encourage us for becoming successful.

Hostel Rating
The college doesn’t have any hostel facility, but there are many paying guest accommodations in that area.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are several labs for different subjects and are well equipped and as the classrooms are very spacious too. The fees of this college are much lower than other colleges. Classes are very much regular. Canteen facility is also available.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life was pretty good with so much knowledgeable faculty and good friends. Our college arranges a yearly fest which is named AALAP. There are many clubs such as photography club, cultural club, literature real clubs, art and craft, singing, dancing, drama, content writing etc. Those who are interested can enroll easily.

    So, before I start with anything let me make this clear Bethune for someone who doesn’t know is a completely government operated college under Calcutta University.     My college is basically a women's college. Bethune College is Asia's 1st women college. Many talented girls come here for study. The ambience is very good which helps to study better.
