The Review of my institute, BIT

Overall Rating
I have cleared the JEE mains exam with the 95 percentile and got this college in CSAB counseling. Although I don't like the branch I have gotten because it is considered to be the toughest branch in engineering.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility of the course is you have to clear the cutoff of the JEE mains and 75 percentage is the criteria required. Reservation is provided to the SC, ST and OBC students. You can opt for this college even after CSAB and JOSAA because they have their own counseling process.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are all from well reputed colleges. The faculty to student ratio is 10:1. Yes, they are very good at teaching and are well experienced. They interact with students during the classes but are old minded and behave very strictly. But are helpful in solving any doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Our college placements are decent. The average package is 21 lakhs per annum in CSE. In my branch EEE, the average package is around 12 lakhs per annum. 80 percent of students got placed last year. My plans after obtaining my degree are pursuing MBA by giving the CAT exam.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are very bad. The staffs are very rude and don't listen to anyone, even when having complaints. The mess food is smelly and indigestible. Overall, the hostel experience is terrible.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure is quite good and is situated in the middle of a forest. So it creates a very calming and peaceful environment. All classrooms are having ACs and digital projectors. The buildings are well furnished. The academic blocks are also having a high-level infrastructure and a stunning interior.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is good, you will meet different students from different parts of the country. The gender ratio is 10:1 which is decent. There different clubs according to the interest of the students, total 6000 students are in the campus, therefore the campus is not too crowded. It is just pleasant.

  • All You Need to Know About BIT
     

    Overall Rating
    I got a decent rank of 27000 in the JEE mains, 2023. I was hoping to get ECE in PEC Chandigarh, but in the last round of CSAB I couldn't get it. My next choice was BIT Mesra. I could have got AIML but during counseling I had no idea about this branch, so I had chosen ECE. Apart from this the college, infrastructure and campus are very beautiful and good.     This institute’s environment is very good. All my friends here are good too. The people of Jharkhand are also very helpful. The institute is situated in a peaceful environment.   • Satisfactory Experience at BIT Mesra

    I am from Ranchi, so considering my rank and all other factors; it was the best available choice for me to choose BIT Mesra. My session started in September 2023, initially in 1st month we have to go for SIP (student induction program) every day after first half classes where we get information regarding various clubs, college placements, academics, and various things.     As per NIRF ranking, it comes under the top 50 colleges in India and placement wise, it holds 20th rank so, it is better than most of the lower NITs and IITs. Things like a good infrastructure, on campus placement rate, faculties’ standards, good opportunities in research field, healthy competition among all students, coding hub, and outstanding campus life make it a worthy choice....
