Experience till now at Miranda House College

Overall Rating
When I entered this college it was a very bad experience. First I got scared of the competition around me but after some time I come up with the situation and now I realized is what I am getting from this prestigious college. I am glad that I had made the right decision.
 

Academics Rating
I have taken geography as my honors course because when I was filling my preference sheet it fascinated me to choose a practical subject which I regretted a lot in the first semester. As time passes with teachers and seniors support I handled the pressure of cartography. Other two subjects have similar syllabus as in class eleventh and twelfth.
 

Faculty Rating
As Miranda House is the number one women’s college in Delhi University, teachers here are well educated from well known Universities. Some of my teachers are even graduated from international universities. They are just best I like the teachers in our college as they are very kind and understandable. Old teachers are well experienced and knowledgeable.
 

Placement Rating
Yes our college has a placement cell as well a society. It is also wonderful experience to attend many seminars conducted by the placement cell. They bring many known personalities especially women to promote women empowerment.
 

Hostel Rating
We had a hostel in our college. It is what is like required for living. Food is almost good. Many programs and events are held in the campus during special festival or occasion. All things are good in hostel. It is also cheap compared to other college’s hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The best part of our college campus is its Library. It is the best place. I often visited their as our teachers suggests so many books to us. We have three to four seminar halls which are well furnished. We have water cooler availability in each department as well as separate toilets for men and women's.
 

Campus Rating
We have students from all over India as well as from neighboring countries. I had many friends in the department as well as from other departments. Getting admission in Miranda house is a little tough so the students were among the toppers. Many workshops and seminars are organised in the college on regular basis.

    Now, I am in Miranda House College from past 1 year. The loveliest thing about it is the green lawns shinning with lights of the lamps in the evening.     Miranda House is a women's college and has a very tight security for making it safe for its students. The college has a very highly educated faculty. All teachers are Ph.D from renowned institutes like IIT's and DU. College has maintained a rank 1st from last 7 years though this year it was ranked 2nd.     Overall talking about the college, no doubt it’s the best. The campus is so beautiful, the faculty is outstanding and campus is neat and clean.
