It has been four years since I am in this college and Jaipur and I love it here. Starting from the place, Jaipur is a great city to live and explore. Our college is in the heart of Jaipur which makes it easy for us to explore the city also. The campus expands in over 300 acres and is very green and clean. I have enjoyed my years so much here. I appeared for JEE Mains examination and got 99.97 percentile which got me CS branch in this college. This is among top 4 Nits in India and is listed as one of top 10 colleges in India by JRF ranking. In terms of placements and study environment this is the best. If you are looking for something or somewhere great to spend your four years then this is the place.

I am in CS branch here. There are total 7 branches here. CS, Mechanical, Meta, Civil, ECE, and EE. The top three core branches are CS, ECE and EE. The only way to enter this college is through JEE Mains exam and the cut off vary every year but it’s approximately 92-93 percentiles. But if you want top branches you need like 97-98 percentiles. The placements are good here and all branches are allowed to sit in all placements. There is a great opportunity for all the students in terms of placements.

There are more than 300-400 faculties in our college. Most of them are IITians or NITians themselves. Some of faculties are from famous colleges of abroad like Harvard. They are very talented and experienced. Most have over 5-6 years of teaching and research experience. The study method is very student oriented. They make it easy to understand and learn for students. We have laboratories also for different departments where we learn all our theories practically. The teaching curriculum is very supportive and helpful for students.

Yes, we have a placement body at our college. It has some professors, PhD scholars, and students too. The students are elected and appointed after an interview in the placement cell. The work and role of the placement cell is to invite companies and make the maximum students be placed. They invite companies and arrange all the examinations proceedings. Till a student is placed and has offered in hand all the responsibility is taken by placement cell. It is very helpful for students to have this body in our college.

Yes, we do have total 13 hostels in our campus and one is in making. This includes 3 girls’ hostel and 10 boys’ hostels. The mess is in the building itself but the food contract is to a single mess union so the food is basically same for all hostels. The hostel rooms are quite comfortable and ventilation is proper. We have water cooler installed at every floor and there are over 5 washrooms per floor. These hostels are so big you can get lost in them. Every year we have a hostel day for each hostel in which we have different cultural and sports events. Annually, we celebrate an inter hostel competition among students also.

We have Asia’s biggest lecture hall VLTC that is infect designed by our ex students only. There is a central canteen, central library, an open air theatre, and a central lawn for all our events. We have different sports ground for various games. We have basketball court, badminton court, cricket ground, football field, and lawn tennis. Within all the campus several water coolers and dustbins are installed here and there. There are a number of trees in MNIT campus which make the campus so beautiful.

MNIT campus is filled with different adventures. We have a number of clubs for everybody interested. We have dance clubs, drama club, poetry, and literature clubs. These clubs are managed and extended by students. Anyone interested can audition and be a part of the club they are interested in according to their skill and talent. These clubs keep doing some small events all around the year. Our two big fests are Blitzschlag and Sphinx which are the cultural and technical fest respectively. Students from all over India come and participate in these fests. Artists are also invited to perform in these fests. Annual sports meet is also an event of 3 days where sports team from all over India come and compete with each other. Overall, we have a lot of exploring and fun activities throughout the year.
