IIIT Gwalior Honest Reviews

Overall Rating
The overall experience with the institute so far is good. I chose this college due its attractive placements stats. The college is research oriented and if someone is more into research they can choose this college. The workload is also vey less compared with other colleges of same level. After 2023 batch college is supporting extracurricular activities. The college provides many things which definitely help in developing ones personality.
 

Academics Rating
The courses offered by college are B.Tech + M.Tech in IT and B.Tech (IT) + MBA (2YEARS) and B.Tech in Computer Science. To get admission in this college one must clear JEE Mains exam with good percentile. The institute is tech oriented, if you are a tech enthusiast and love coding web development or want to go in the field of technology you can consider this college.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty of IIITM Gwalior is good they don’t overburden students. Lectures are held from Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday are holiday. All the faculties are Ph.D holders from renowned institutes like IITs, NITs and IIITs. The teaching style is so simple that if one who knows English very less can also understand lecture. Overall faculty experience is good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes there is placement cell in the college and it helps the students acquire jobs in industry. When there is placement season, many companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and etc companies visit college.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes there are 4 boys’ hostel and 1 girl’s hostel and one new hostel is under construction in the campus. The infrastructure is old but good enough and we are provided with 24x7 water, light and internet. The internet speed is pretty good. In each hostel there is a mess also.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college infrastructure is good, there is one academic block where all work related to academics is done. There are two lecture theaters where classes are held, there is one auditorium, one convocation hall is also there, there are 4 boys hostel, one girls hostel, and there is a sports complex that has gym, a badminton court, football ground, basketball ground, volleyball ground, and a music room is also there.
 

Campus Rating
The total institute strength is around 1500 not much but it is good because there is lot of opportunities. There is club named Beathoppers for dance, Manchatantra for dramatics, Aasf for tech and Rotaract for social cause, there is music society for music, Uthan for cultural activities. There are two fests one in cultural fest that is AURORA and another one is techno-cultural/managerial INFOTSAV.

    IIITM is one of the oldest IIITs in India. Overall, my learning experience at the college was pretty good. The college infrastructure is amazing, and the activities organised are impressive.     Overall Rating
    Basically our college ranked nearly 80 in NRIF and currently it is 74. College has enough facilities such as ac labs and many more. There is some extra work which is under process. College consists of mostly greenery which is most peaceful. Overall infrastructure is also good. Class rooms are literally very nice. Mostly there will be no ragging in college. Most of college seniors are friendly with us. College has many places to roam and we have many places to visit near our college.... Read Full Review

    As I have explored different schools and colleges since childhood I never experienced B.Tech life of college. Here in ABV IIITM campus everyone is given maximum freedom which is free from any restrictions that is very Important to students of today world. Of course we need to adjust regarding faculty but we can manage it through online videos etc. but overall the college is extraordinary with a loving nature.     It is one of the 5 completely public IIITs. It offers wide range of programs in various fields like Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics and Computing, Electrical and Electronics, and Management courses.
