Overall Rating
Here classes are held in the morning so that you can get plenty of time for self studies. There are three campuses of this college. The residential places of Thakur's, Rammohan Roy, Vivekananda and many others are within very short distance from our college.
 

Academics Rating
This college offers Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts course in both honors and multidisciplinary. To get into this college you have to score more than 65 percent in your higher secondary examination. You get many curricular activities in this college like NCC, NSS, Spoken English Course, French Language Course, Yoga Course, Beautician Course, Computer Training Course etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of this college is quite good. Professors are friendly. They help you in your studies as much as they can. Some of them are quite rude but it's manageable. They help you in every problem that you face in college. They give you good marks on your projects. So overall it's a decent experience.

Yes, The hostel is quite cheaper from any other colleges. The hostel is within 500 meters of our college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are three campuses of our college. 1st campus was the old campus. The building structure was old but it's interesting. 2nd and third campus was well furnished. There is well furnished auditorium, Central Library and Smart Classrooms in the college. This helps you to focus more on study.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life was amazing. There are two canteens available. Students are hanging out there. Clean and healthy breakfast is available. There are options for snacks also. The price is quite cheap. Wi-Fi is available in whole campus. It's a ragging free campus. There is an open air stage also.

    Good placement opportunities are provided to the students of VCFW. A well-maintained college with all the necessary and required facilities.     Vidyasagar College for Women is a Government aided college, affiliate with University of Calcutta. It was established in 1960 but the college started its journey in 1931 when an individual women section of Vidyasagar College was started to educate the women of our society. The college is re-accredited at the “B++ (with CGPA- 2.79) level” by NAAC (cycle- 2) 2017.
