Overall Rating
The Medical College Haldwani is the best government medical college of Uttrakhand as the college is located in the greenery near the hill station, Nainital. The college has the best academics in whole state. It is a national level renowned college and is associated with Susheela Tiwari Hospital in Haldwani.
 

Academics Rating
MBBS is a course of four and half years. In order to clear the cutoff, you have to qualify the NEET examination by NTA and should have a rank less than 2000. This college is the best government medical college of the whole Uttrakhand state after AIIMS Rishikesh.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties of the Government Medical College Haldwani are best in their subjects as they are all having masters of PhD degree in their particular subjects. All the teachers have great knowledge of their subjects both in clinically and applied aspects.
 

Placement Rating
No, there is no placement cell in the college but all students get a chance to work in government hospitals as a medical officer after an internship in the Government Medical College Haldwani.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have separate boy’s and girl’s hostel for MBBS students every year. The hostels have excellent infrastructure and are spacious. But single rooms are not provided from 1st year itself.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has beautiful greenery and the atmosphere is also very good. The academic block is fully new and well ventilated, all lecture theatres have AC and fans. The campus has a huge cafeteria for eating.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is amazing. There is a fest called, “Crescendo” which is organised every year in the college. There are separate sports and literature clubs in the college which is managed by the students and all students can participate in it.

    As I belong to Kaladhungi which is near to Haldwani gives me good advantage to go with this college. It is the top college in Uttarakhand that's why my first choice is Haldwani medical college.
