Amity Noida is known as an ocean of opportunities but only for those who have pockets as heavy as anything. However, all the success stories that you hear are from the lesser-known colleges. This is because Amity and other such private opportunities operate to make money and not care about the students. In Amity, Money is everything. All the problems be it lesser attendance or any fault, there's a simple solution, which is money. The attendance system is ridiculous because the college will send you for events and cut your attendance. The crowd is quality because only quality crowd can feed such high fees of the college. Syllabus structure and teaching methods are often messed up. Infrastructure is awesome and being one of the largest universities of North India, attracting celebrities and sponsoring celebrities is so easy for the university. Previously the college was one of the sponsors of IPL franchise DC, and all the Delhi Capitals players paid a visit to the university and gave a lecture that helped the students indulged in sports. There are just a few good things, but mostly it's all negative about the college.

The syllabus changes every year and you will never be able to rely on the notes or books of the previous year. The teaching was pathetic as lecturer was seen sleeping in the classes after assigning work to the students. You must have seen this or heard this about government schools or colleges, but it is visible in private universities like Amity Noida as well. If you want to enjoy your bachelor's life then this university is a perfect suit for you because I did everything at the university but learning.

Irresponsible, lazy, and pathetic won't be enough to tell all about the kind of faculty present at the university. They will never take attendance call but will put them as per their wish. I remember in one of the subjects I hardly missed, my attendance calendar showed 65% while it was over 90. Luckily it has become digital now, so no more goof-ups on that. They will share most of the questions that are going to come in exams, and this was one help for which, I would like to thank them. They did this because they knew that they hadn't taken classes seriously and students hardly knew about the subject content.

For all that the university gives ads and posts, that 100% placement record is all false. Yes, nearly 100 companies visited, and most of them BPO. They just checked whether we can speak fluently in English, if yes, we were hired immediately, but no core companies offered jobs over 15-20% of the students. They could understand that we don't even know the basics, and taking us for training and investing would be time consuming for them. Just because the college pays them they are forced to come here otherwise, they would never come to such a university where students don't even know the basics of engineering.

There are both boy's and girl's hostels inside the campus. Amity has a lot of outsiders because it gives admissions even to students who are passed with 40%. There are AC as well as non- AC rooms available to choose from, and food provided is also excellent. The hostel has both veg and non-veg mess differentiated, and one doesn't have to worry about having food alongside the ones who are non-vegetarian.

Amity University Noida campus is one of the biggest campuses that you will find in the country. Air-conditioned classrooms to high-tech labs. Digital library and ICT enabled college gates to mark our presence. In possibly all the corners of the college, CCTV cameras make up for a secure and safe environment inside the universities. The university has 12+ buildings for different schools that it has. The engineering department has 3 buildings, and all the labs were in the same building. There are 2 world class auditoriums and 2 libraries. The sporting facilities are of international standard as many state and domestic players use the college facilities for practicing. The college's basketball court and swimming pool are as per Olympics standard. For food, one doesn't have to worry a bit as besides the 2 multi-cuisine canteens, the university has food joints like Dosa Plaza, Subway, and Dominos inside the campus. For coffee lovers, there's a CCD outlet as well. A supermarket W. H. Smith is also there inside the campus, along with a salon shop. The university also has upfront medical facilities, and thus it's a paradise on earth for those who can afford it.

The facilities would ensure that students have a lot to do as there are sports grounds, indoor sports, and a music room for time pass. The entire campus is Wi-Fi and there are no restrictions on sites and thus one can access YouTube at will at over 50mbps speed. As I said earlier, I have enjoyed my bachelor's life and for those who want to enjoy are always a welcome at Amity University.
