Overall Rating
I study at Gandhi Institute of Excellent Technocrats (GIET), which is near the Mendhasla Reserved Forest and close to Bhubaneswar city. The air here is clean, and there are lots of trees and peacocks here, making it a peaceful and healthy place to study. The campus has classrooms, labs, a big library, and comfortable hostels. There are also sports facilities and open air gym where we can relax and play football.
 

Academics Rating
To get into B.Tech course at GIET, you don't need a special entrance exam. You just need to have clear JEE Mains or the special OJEE exam. You also need at least 50% marks in Science in your 12th grade and 10th board exams. After meeting these requirements, you only need to pay the necessary fees.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at GIET is excellent. Saroj Sir is our Mechanical Engineering teacher and also the Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Subhrajyouti Sir teaches Electrical Engineering and is the Principal of the college. Tarakant Sir teaches English and is the Head of the Department of Basic Science and Humanities. Their expertise and guidance greatly enhance our learning experience and they all are Ph.D holders in their specific fields
 

Placement Rating
Our college, GIET has a good placement cell that works hard to help students to secure jobs. The placement cell brings many top companies to the campus, including Deloitte, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra. They also provide training and support to prepare students for their interviews and help them to find good career opportunities. The placement cell wants that many students get placed in well-known companies. The placement cell is operated by Debajyoti Mishra sir.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college has hostel facilities. We live in triple sharing rooms that have an attached bathroom and a wash basin. However, we often face issues with insufficient water supply. Although there is Wi-Fi available in the hostel, it is frequently not in working condition. Despite these challenges, the hostel provides a basic living arrangement for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college has six buildings. Three of these are hostels where students live, and the other three are where we attend classes, do experiments, and meet teachers, There's also a cafeteria and a canteen where we eat. Everything is spread out nicely within campus, so it's easy to find what we need.
 

Campus Rating
Life at Gandhi Institute of Excellent Technocrats (GIET) is fun. We study together, play games on the playground, and eat in the cafeteria. The campus is calm and peaceful near the forest, so we can relax too. Everyone is friendly, and we have a good time together.

    If you want to do B.Tech on a low budget you can choose this college. Here, the teachers are really friendly. If you want to develop your own skills you have to study by yourself.     I study at Gandhi Institute of Excellent Technocrats. It is a big and modern campus. We have good teachers and many facilities. I learn new things and make friends. I join clubs and play sports.
