Overall Rating
Academy of Technology is one of the best Engineering colleges in Hooghly, affiliated with MAKAUT University (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal). The strength of this college is its optimistic placement cell. It accepts both WBJEE and JEE MAINS rank. College management is well organized.
 

Academics Rating
I have joined the Computer Science Engineering department by clearing the state board joint entrance (WBJEE). I choose this course here because AOT has a strong placement cell which will help me to get a good company. Yes course subjects are up to my expectation and I am hopeful to get a job.
 

Faculty Rating
There are plenty of faculties in our college in every department. There are nearly 13-14 faculties in CSE. This scenario is for every department. Many faculties are from the beginning (2004) having more than 10 years of experience. They are well qualified (Masters and Ph.D.) and teach the subject well.
 

Placement Rating
As I have said previously the placement cell is very strong here, TCS, ITC, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys come regularly to our college. Avarage package is 4 LPA and the highest package is 8 LPA (TCS, WIPRO). In CSE nearly 100% of students got placement offers. In the other department, the scenario is nearly 90%.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are pretty cleaned and disciplined. Boys and Girls Hostels are separated. Food quality is healthy but can be improved.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus area is large with a great big pond. The atmosphere is good as it is located in rural areas. The classrooms are big and clean. The lab has all facilities and equipment. There is a big auditorium also. For playing football there is a big ground. Emergency and medical support are 24x7.
 

Campus Rating
There are two types of fest organized in the college - technical fest and cultural fest. Singers like Mika Singh, Amit Trivedi, and Sunidhi Chauhan came to the fest. There are clubs for various activities. There is too much discipline and a packed schedule, for this it affects in the college life a little bit.

    This college offers good placements with the minimum fees of Rs.4 lakh for 4 years which is around 1 lakh per year. This college offers good courses for B.Tech like Computer Science Engineering, Electronic and Communication Engineering, Computer Science with Business System and other departments.     Academy of Technology (AOT) is situated in Adisaptagram, Hooghly, West Bengal.It is very close to the Adisaptagram railway station.AOT shares a very big campus area compared to the other engineering colleges of West Bengal.The Faculty members of this college are very helpful.
