My Review on Santiniketan Medical College

Overall Rating
Santiniketan Medical College is located in Birbhum. It is a PPP model college with huge infrastructure and best faculty from India. It has its own 1500 bedded hospital with indoor and outdoor facility. It has partnership with Bolpur sub divisional hospital. Patient flow is medium to high. Hospital is running 24/7.
 

Academics Rating
One has to clear NEET depending upon marks you will get MQ or SQ seat. To get MQ seat you have to just pass NEET but to get SQ seat you need get score good marks. Reservation is available on SQ seat. Fees of MQ are nearly 1 crore for full course and fees for SQ is nearly 25L for full course.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty is retired from government medical college with immense experience and idea about of university exam. Other junior faculties are MD from government medical college and also have teaching experience. They are always available to clear doubt. Student can contact them any hour of the day.
 

Placement Rating
After completing of MBBS the college provide 1yr internship with stipend. After that student can choose house staff.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes hostel is available within the campus. There are separate boys and girls hostel. Triple share, double share and single room with or without AC are available. Meals are provided 4 times a day (veg and non veg both).
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus includes administrative building, examination hall, library capacity of at least 300 student and latest edition book, four air conditioner lecture hall for the four batches, demo room with AC, microbiology lab, biochemistry lab, hematology lab etc are also present in the campus. Canteen and ground for playing are present within the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Student council is formed by the students of 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year Student. All together organized different festivals like Sarasvati puja and Durga puja. Annual fest is celebrated with hype and enthusiasm. Juniors are welcomed with freshers and farewell is given to senior batches.
