MIMS, Barabanki - Review

Overall Rating
Overall review as per private college is okay. Yeah to be honest, there is little bit strictness inside the campus but its okay. The college campus is also good, the faculties are good and yeah you will be given little bit stress regarding internal exams as compared to other colleges though it's not a negative point, but it's for your own good only.
 

Academics Rating
For MBBS, last year cutoff for this college was 373 approximately. Talking about requirement and eligibility obviously you need to clear NEET and get marks at least 400 (for a safer side) to get this college. Motive for enrolling in this program is obviously to become a good doctor both clinically and mentally.
 

Faculty Rating
Talking about first year, all of the faculties are great specially Anatomy. Maximum of the 1st year teachers are MBBS. One faculty of anatomy has done MD. The language they use giving lectures is mostly English but simultaneously Hindi is also used while teaching. The lectures occurs at the lecture theatre, There are 4 lecture theatres (may be 5 now) The teaching style is by slide ppt reading (like every other medical colleges)though the Anatomy faculty as I mentioned use chalk and boards and will make a clear-cut map regarding that topic.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is 100% as there is already less doctors in India, so you don't need to think about placements in MBBS.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is situated inside the campus only, there are presently 3 boy’s hostel and 3 girl’s hostel for MBBS students and for PG students there are separate hostel. In each room there is accommodation for 2 persons, you will be provided with a bed, an almirah, and AC is available in every room.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good. And regarding physical sports / activities there is a basketball court, badminton court, volley ball court and a big ground for football and cricket, indoor games are also available like table tennis. Gym is also there inside the campus. There are 4 lecture theaters, dissection hall, laboratory rooms and more in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is good. There is one canteen, one cafeteria and one stationary shop inside the campus. Though the rate of stationeries inside the campus is slightly high as compared to real price. Yes every year fest is organised and it's for 4 days and these 4 days are the best 4 days in the year. You will definitely have a lot of fun too along with study.

    College is good with a beautiful environment to study. I am very happy to study in this institute. Teachers are friendly and always help in my subjects with good guidance.     College is in good location. Patient flow is excellent. Cut-off is medium. Excellent infrastructure The admission process is under UP Govt. You just have to enrol your name marks and All India Rank under the UP Govt. counselling process. The admission and college will be by your All India Rank and marks.... Read Full Review
