Overall Rating
After spending about a year’s time here at BIT, I am eligible for writing the following review. Good hostel facility with large rooms for first year students. Hygiene is maintained as the hostels get regularly cleaned. Average mess food. Good seniors. Less academic burden and lots of free time.
 

Academics Rating
About B.Tech one should have a respectable JEE Mains score. Having a residential of Jharkhand State is a must without which admission is not possible, about the branches the best being Electrical Engineering followed by Mechanical, Metallurgy and Mining in terms of placements and overall coursework. This college is best known for its core branches.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in the college is on an average decent, one cannot expect everything from the professors. Although most of the professors are highly experienced and have good command over the subjects they teach. Almost all professors are IITians.
 

Placement Rating
Yeah we do have a dedicated career development centre headed by Dr Ghanshyam sir who himself is an IITians. Our college has the best return on investment. Average package being 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we have almost 30 hostels. Hostel infrastructure is decent and new hostels are in the making. These ones will have modern infrastructure similar to the ones in IITs and NITs. But there's no such dedicated recreation provided, although facilities for volleyball, cricket ground is provided.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have dedicated buildings for each department with labs equipped with adequate instruments. New Open air theatre, academic complex and student’s activity centers are on the making, we have a magnificent central library with over a lakh books covering all engineering domains and a variety of other domains too, We have a lecture hall complex for first year classes which also serves as center for mid semester and end semester exams. We also have a beautiful canteen where one can get tasty food at minimum prices.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus life at Bit Sindri is average, you will experience tech fest, and cultural fest and many other things, the population in the college is about 3000 people combined of all the years, there are a variety of clubs and NGOs here at bit Sindri which provide ample growth opportunity.

    BIT Sindri is renowned government institute for engineering. It is very cost efficient and reliable. Faculty members are very experienced and the labs are very good.     The very first impression of the Institute “This institute is beyond expectations and a life saver for students who can't go to NIT's". It has a wide spread campus of around 450 acres with a green environment and students accommodate in hostels which increases their social interactions.     Our Institute Birsa Institute of Technology is one of the most fabulous Institute in Jharkhand which is a Government Engineering Institute of Jharkhand. It is affiliated with Jharkhand University of Technology.     This campus is beautiful and is designed with perfect architecture. This Institution is well maintained. The overall experience in the college till now is good and I hope it remains the same with help of supportive professors. The course fee of this college is minimal and affordable for all students.     BIT Sindri Dhanbad is located in Sindri (urban area) but here experience of this Institute in my eye is good in terms of everything like campus, environment, faculty, seniors and juniors interaction, and hostel Life, etc. For being a student this has been a great journey and experience.
