University Maharani College B.Com Review By Priyam Jain

I chose this college for B.Com course at University Maharani College, Jaipur because it is one of the most reputed girls college in Jaipur and this course is good option along with pursuing CA course which I am currently pursuing. If anyone is thinking of pursuing professional course like CA, MBA they can go for B.Com course at this college. Otherwise also, it is reputed college of Jaipur for graduation degree.

B.Com is a course which provides practical and deep knowledge about market, finance and accounting field which is taught by good faculty at this college. For entry / admission in this college, one needs to clear Class 12th Examination. Afterwards fill Application Form which is available at website of college and offline as well and then wait for cut off list of college which goes high for this exam. Thus, admission is based on cut off list of college. Eligibility criterion is to pass 12th Class Examination and student can apply for this course in college. Motive of enrolling in this program is to get detailed knowledge of Commercial Operations in market and get degree which will help in future at time of looking for job opportunities or career making time. Annual Examinations are held in college for this exam.

Faculty of B.Com Course of University Maharani College is very knowledgeable and experienced. They teach very well and in detail their subjects. They solve doubts of students in class and after the class are over also if approached by students. They explain each chapter in class and give homework. The faculty - to student - ratio is also good. One teacher teaches 15 to 20 students at a time and solves their query based on one to one interaction.

There is no placement cell at my institute. After completing the course, students themselves need to find job opportunities in the industry but there are no internship or placement opportunities at this college.

I live in Jaipur only so I did not take hostel facilities. As far as I know, there are no hostel facilities at the college but they can find in the nearby area good PG (s) and hostels.

The infrastructure of University Maharani College comprises of spacious classrooms with iron benches and fan facility. There was one blackboard in my class. There is a very good library in the college which offers access to wide range of books and journals. Students can take books from there with librarian's permission who issues library card, take help of the books and return it to librarian. Students can go and study in peaceful environment of the library. Moreover, there is a big ground in college for sports activities. Washrooms and Water Cooler facilities are proper in college. One canteen is also there where quality of food is okay.

In this college, there are many students enrolled in different courses. In my section there were 15-20 students. There is no uniform code and student can wear any clothes which are decent. Fests and extracurricular activities are organised by students in college but during my time it was Covid so no such events were organised.
