I had many doubts while choosing this college in the year 2023, however upon consulting many seniors I finally decided to go with it. 1 year later, I can confidently say that I don't regret my decision even a bit. Overall the college has a mixed variety of students and professors. Some are very studious and go to the library daily, others focus more on non-academic areas. But I would say that you would definitely find people you can relate with in a batch size of 500 students.

The academics here can be a bit demanding. But with consistent dedication (starting from two weeks) before semester exams, I found it's not a big challenge to do well in these exams. I also found that the subjects are very relevant to the contemporary world and continuous changes in the curriculum help to keep pace with the industry. For example, a new course (ISL) was introduced for our batch for the first time when the catgut era came to a rise, so that students could at least have their first step into a world that will be driven by AI.

Some faculties can be a little overbearing at times, However all of them understand of the students concerns and they listen to everyone's grievances. Most of them are very helpful in non-academic areas as well and are always ready to mentor their fellow students. However none of the faculties would ever deny a student who comes to clear their doubts with them.

Yes we do have a very active placement cell (TPC). And yes it does help students a lot when the companies come for on-campus interviews. If you have good connections with people in the TPC cell, you can even approach them and they would surely help you land an off-campus placement too. Recently the TPC cell has played a major role in increasing our average from 13 to 14 LPA (of course the credit also goes to the students who worked hard and cracked the interviews).

Yes we do have 4 boys hostel + a smaller temporary one while the girls have a separate hostel with the capacity to accommodate up to 500 students each. There are a lot of facilities provided inside the hostel. For example BH1 has a pool table and a TT table while students also play badminton and cricket inside the hostel. It's permitted as long as there is no damage to property. The washrooms are okay. Not all washrooms are well maintained but the ones in E wing are hygienic. Don't worry you will find a clean place.

The infrastructure is well maintained and is always kept up to date. There is always some construction activity going on for the betterment of our college. We have academic block, a huge central library, a sports complex with indoor and outdoor badminton court, we also have a basketball court and a medical unit stationed just near it.

The campus life is very good overall. It also depends on which group you hang out with. But overall, with the canteens helping you during the exam times, your peers studying with you late nights and just enjoying various activities together and make for a wonderful campus life. There can be some downsides, sometimes the mess food won't be up to your expectations but having a good social circle, you'll manage to overcome the worst parts of this college easily.
