I joined Maharaja Institute Of Technology (MIT Mysore) in the year 2021 and had really adventurous experience from past four years of my engineering. It was quite great experience; somewhere best suited for management quota because of affordable fees structure. I choose this college because I knew about bus facility and that's important because we can save some sort of travelling time, and then the college has strict faculty and even the great experienced teachers. I advise to join this college because of its emerging infrastructure and faculty.

I choose Electronic and Communication Engineering because I was good in physics and anyone can join this course with the interest in physics and core companies. The CET ranking eligibility to join ECE course is within 40k ranking and should score at least 75% in PUC. If you want to join through management I prefer coming through referrals. One best thing is our college conduct CET Mock test which takes place before CET main exam and if you are in top three places then you'll get direct admission without any CET ranking and even the fees cost will be reduced.

Even though faculty is strict the lessons they teach or the way they clear the doubt is indeed great. The notes that they provide is to the peak and in MIT the academic excellence is great. My stream was electronic and communication and I never faced difficulty is scoring marks because of my faculty.

Yes, we have placement cell in MIT. In my department out of 120, the placed students are only two including me, I am placed in IBM. Currently, the placements opportunities are very less in MIT due to recession process but they do provide some placements opportunities and it's left up to us that how we grab the opportunity.

Yes, residential facility is provided in our college. The total mess fees for one year is 45-55k and each month the food charge etc. is added to that fees. The hostel infrastructure is great and they have separate wardrobe and study table arrangements. There is a gym facility inside hostel campus. But unfortunately the food is not up to mark.

When I entered the college campus in the year 2021, the college was too empty but presently They are new buildings. Recently they built a 3 floored library building which includes great infrastructure for students to spend some valuable time with books. Even the canteen is not that bad. But presently there is lot of students and canteen has less space and even the auditorium is small.

I can promise that campus life wouldn't be that good because of strict faculties and strict watchman but it depends on the friend circle you create, if they matches your vibe then you can create cherish full memories inside the campus. But there is attendance tracking system or app provided by our college faculties and if you bunk a class then directly the notification will be sent to your parents so beware of such things and try to enjoy your college life within limits.
