Regional Institute of Education Bhubaneswar is one of the regional institutes of education established in 1961. This college is affiliated with Utkal university. The campus area of this college is about 100 acres. Now some of the regional institute of education has selected students through NCET but this college is still taking CEE exam for selecting the students. This college not only provide academic facilities but also hostel, playground and other facilities are also provided to the students. Opportunities in games and sports are also there as this college participates in inter college games and inter University games. College also conducts annual athletics and sports events.

The academic performance of the students of this college is very good as all the students are selected through CEE exam process. This college runs by NCERT with affiliation to Utkal University. The students of this college are not only good in academics but their overall performance is very good as the main focus of college is on holistic development of the students. This college is best for teacher education. The students for this college are also performing very well in prestigious exams like IIT JAM. Recently some of the students have scored AIR under 100 in different subjects.

Faculty of this college is highly qualified and is best in their field. Some of the professor of this college has written some chapters in different books or NCERT. In the field of education the faculty of this college is best as they are actively participating in educational activities like seminar on education policy and the core subject faculty of this college is also good.

Before end of the session, between March and April most of the prestigious school came here of placement purposes. They select the students of this college through a simple interview.

In the campus of this college there are four hostels. Out of which three for girls and one for boys. Hostel is allotted to all the students who are taking admission in this college.

Infrastructure of this college is also good. The academic building of the college is average. Smart boards are installed in all the classroom and LTs. Library facility is also available in the same building and laboratory for all the different subjects are there. An auditorium is also there which is quite good.

The campus of Regional Institute of Education Bhubaneswar is in about 100 acres. All the required facilities like hostel, playground, gardens, open gym, canteen etc are available inside the campus. In this campus synthetic tennis court and wooden badminton court are also there and exposure for new game and skills are available for students. The campus is not much crowded as the seats for each course are limited.
