All You Need to Know About YMCA Faridabad

Overall Rating
J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology YMCA Faridabad is quite a good university with a good crowd and faculty. The environment is also quite good with good modes of convenience with connected roads and metro station nearby. The only thing is that it has outdated infrastructure on which the university is making changes with some new infrastructure.
 

Academics Rating
Academic review is also quite good for this university. It covers majorly all important subjects that are needed for placements and for further studies too in the curriculum. Talking about my course that is computer engineering, the curriculum contains all major subjects like DSA, DBMS, CN, OS, Algorithms, etc. Along with the major theory subjects there are various labs to make students industry ready.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very good with deep knowledge of the subjects; they help students and know good teaching methods. Faculty adapts to new teaching methods and is also very helpful. They always try to cover majorly all parts of the syllabus on time with a good teaching method and in a way that all students understand it. Apart from academics also the faculty is cooperative.
 

Placement Rating
One of the most important points that a college student looks for is placement before taking admission in a college. Talking about this university, it has a good placement record which attracts students to take admission. Companies start visiting the college in the fourth year to offer placements to students. Offers of internships along with pre placement offers are also there. Companies like Samsung, Hitachi, and Maruti Suzuki visit the campus for placements.
 

Hostel Rating
This is the area which does not exist for now in the university. We got the hostel when we came up as freshers in the first year but it was allocated only for a year, after that we had to vacate the hostel because university had to renovate it. So for now, there are no hostels in the university.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is not so good infrastructure in the university. It is because the university is quite old and needs renovation. But it is not like the university management is not doing anything about it. There are running projects in the university which include girls’ hostel, boys’ hostel, new library, and other projects too. Infrastructure is not everything in a college, apart from it there are other aspects too.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is nice in this university. The crowd is good. There is a lot to explore in the university. One of the major roles in a good campus life is the role of clubs and societies which helps to build a personality and boosts confidence. A new student could get a good exposure in clubs which are helpful in interaction and by taking participation in events held in the university, one could explore his/her skills and work upon them. Also, there are sufficient amount of events held in university.

    My overall experience of this institution is so nice. It is not so far from my home. Its only takes 20 to 25 minutes to reach there and the reason why I choose this institution because it is semi government institution and the degree they provide has more value than any other private institutions.
