I came to know about this course and college through one of my seniors who suggested it to me stating that this is the best marine engineering college in India and after checking about this college and their esteemed alumni; I was fully motivated to follow the footsteps of alumni and to achieve something great. The lifestyle here is well disciplined; each and every task is allotted a specific timing starting out the day from 5:30 hooter alarm followed by physical training, breakfast, classes, sports, dinner, and then sleep. The faculty here is highly qualified and supportive, always ready for solving your queries and supports the innovations and new ideas; the college provides a variety of sports namely basketball, cricket, badminton, hockey, football, table tennis, and swimming. The hygiene of hostels, mess, and academic buildings is also kept in top notch condition. The seniors are very helpful and provide the right guidance and help you with your problems. The campus also provides free Wi-Fi for staff and students along with latest simulator labs for simulating all the machineries onboard vessel. The eligibility for enrolling in B.Tech marine engineering is minimum 70% marks in class 12th with PCM and you have to clear the IMUCET exam which helps every year. Following the schedule and training provided here, one can transform himself from a boy into an officer.

The eligibility criterion for B.Tech marine engineering is passing class 12th exams with 70% and above marks with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths subjects. Also, one has to clear with good rank the IMUCET exam which takes place between March-June every year. The course here focuses mainly on technical side onboard a ship, which comprises study of various machineries and engines.

Faculty here comprises of highly qualified professors, associate professors, and chief engineers who are always ready to support and guide their students with studies and also help the students preparing for interviews by organising public speaking sessions, debate competitions, and also support new ideas and innovations through technical paper writing competitions.

Placement here is very good with almost 90% cadets getting placed almost every year. They help you with the interview Q/A, mock interviews, and guide and prepare you for interviews.

Hostels here are equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, each floor of hostel has its own water purifier and cooler facility, each hostel has their own gym and recreational room with table tennis and billiards table.

Infrastructure is in good conditions with proper lighting, fans and water and electricity supply throughout the day. There is quick and regular maintenance in case of any fault. All rooms have proper doors, fans, lights, chair, study table, windows, and alimrahs for keeping stuff. The rooms are spacious.

Life at campus is highly active and fun with various sports, training, and college fests taking place in February. Passing out parade is there for the farewell of fourth years by Sainyatris (parade contingent of our college). Various events such as technical paper writing, drawing competition, e-gaming events, and essay writing competitions keep the cadets here busy.
