Biomedical Science Department at Bhaskaracharya College

Overall Rating
This college is under University of Delhi. About ranking of this college, it is NAAC grade A+ college and NIRF rank 22. As per academic records, it is one of the best colleges in India. In this college, total 11 departments are there. This college is best known for its only food technology department in the whole Delhi University and Biomedical Science. It ranks 1st in biomedical department of university of Delhi. College campus is full of greenery and is environmentally friendly. It provides good lab facility for every department.
 

Academics Rating
All departments are producing good results; many students from this college got a chance in IIT for M.sc. Many are getting in AIIMS also from Biomedical Science department. All teachers have a minimum Ph.D degree and a good experience in teaching. About education ranking; NAAC ranking of this college is A+ and the NIRF ranking of latest assessment is 22.
 

Faculty Rating
The entire faculty in this college and in every department is well qualified; they have minimum Ph.D degree and also are M.Phil degree holders with years of experience in teaching. They properly teach you about hands on practical and experiments. Every student is provided with a mentor among all department teachers, who solve each and every problem of students. It is helpful for girls.
 

Placement Rating
College has a Placement Cell but no such big placements have been provided by the college.

Infrastructure Rating
It is well furnished with good infrastructure. This college has two main gates, one open gym, a big ground for cricket and football, one volley ball court, one basket ball court, and two badminton courts are also present. It has a library present with all kinds of books in it. One large AV room with projector facility is available and classrooms are environment friendly with large windows and projectors.
 

Campus Rating
As per my opinion, the campus life is well and good. College has many clubs you can join as per your interest and clubs are working with various activities throughout the year. They also perform in different institutes. Cultural activities and seminars are regularly done in college. Sports are played inter-departments and also intercollegiate.

    Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences commonly known as BCAS is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. Completely funded by Govt. of India. NIRF ranked 27th among the colleges in India in the year 2024. The college is good for paramedics, But fest and events are not up to the mark of the University of Delhi.
