Good Institute for Learning

Overall Rating
The overall experience of mine in this college is very good. I always wanted to do B.Sc in maths honours and I found that this college provides very good learning for their students. Also this college is affiliated under University of Calcutta. The fee is not that much.
 

Academics Rating
The course provides very good learning but yes, one has to be good in mathematics to pursue this course. The eligibility criterion here depends on the students' class 12 marks where the required percentage is 70% and above. Those who want to pursue their career in the field of analytics can pursue this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are very good in terms of teaching and also they are a bit strict as well. But it is for the betterment of the students. I can say that whenever I required any support in terms of studies, they were always there to help. However, these faculties are also very friendly.
 

Placement Rating
The college hasn't provided any placements till now.
 

Hostel Rating
They don't have hostel facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this college is very big and also, there are good facilities provided here. The classrooms size is also very big which can fit up to sixty students at a time. Apart from that, the library is average but there are a lot of books present over there which are required by the students.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is awesome according to me because the first year students have a very enjoyable time in their college life. Also, the freshers party happens here which is organised by the students’ union. Apart from that, there are also many clubs present here; students can be a part of the clubs as well.

    Overall Rating
    New Alipore College is one of the colleges under Calcutta University. Its performance is good in every department. Faculty members are very helpful and three years in the college doesn't feel like a hard time. This college also has a Disciplinary Act and an Anti-Ragging Cell which is helpful for the students. The website of college is up to date and has LMS portal which can be accessed by teachers for uploading notes and study material for the students to download.... Read Full Review

    New Alipore College is located in New Alipore which is easily accessible by students as it has a railway station nearby. The college’s ambiance is very good. The principal, teachers and staff members are very good and helpful. The college has a big library which allows students to read and learn about many new topics.
