Computer Science at Prananath Autonomous College

Overall Rating
I want to evolve with current generation so I chose computer science as my core subject. This college is near to my home, approximate 7 km and is a reputed college. I got a seat on first selection so I took admission here. Others may take this course as it is very helpful to go with the current generation.
 

Academics Rating
I have done B.Sc computer science course which is a 3 year degree course. You can apply through SAMS Odisha's website. You need 10+2 (science) with math. My motive was to evolve with current generation. Main motive was to get developed in the field of computer science and make a healthy career in it.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are quite good but computer science department needs improvement. We don't have any teachers who have done Ph.D in computer science so they should look into it. Being an autonomous college, they should hire good teachers. Teachers are very helpful and they teach well. Basically, computer science department needs a lot of improvement.
 

Placement Rating
College has a Placement Cell. Some companies regularly visit our college. Many students got placed in those. Placement Cell needs to be improved so they may prepare students in a better way so they will be industry ready.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, 3 girls’ hostels and 1 boys’ hostel are present in our college. Girls’ hostels are in college campus and boys’ hostel is around 250 meters from campus. Boys’ hostels’ construction work is going on. Infrastructure is quite good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have many rooms but the old block is quite damaged, but new classrooms’ construction works are going on for the whole year. Buildings are spacious you can really enjoy them. Now they have made an auditorium room with seating capacity of 500 persons. Also, new buildings’ construction is going on.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good. You will get a wonderful view of Barunei hill. Almost every event is done in our college. College is good. College is near NH 16 so you will get transport facilities easily. College is crowded as it is a reputed college in our district.

    At the time of my admission all my relatives and friends told me to join this college as this is famous for its commerce faculty. They are right because the commerce faculty in this college is good and friendly and highly talented but there is a problem also.
