The GCCBA is a brand name for the association with Goenka college which every commerce student from Kolkata and various other parts of India desires to get after their boards but due to high cutoff of around 95 % it's seems difficult to get admission in this college but it's quite possible. But hype of this college is a little overrated as compared to its cutoff desirability. It still is good choice because as per quality of education, it is very cheap.

The results of this college are commendable because when you admit students with such high cutoff they are obviously great in their academics so the average SGPA is above 80%. The highest can go around 90%. Therefore, in the morning batch which starts around 6:45 AM, all the students are pursuing is professional courses due to which their cut off is high as compared to day students.

The faculty too is good in their respective fields and subjects with great academics qualifications. Their knowledge in their respective fields is very good and they have great experience in teaching. Mostly, they too are passed out from Goenka college itself, so their experience can help students get decent score as per Calcutta University based syllabus curriculum.

The Placement Cell is not up to the mark. The companies hiring are okay but the packages of these companies are very low.

No hostel facility is there but there are many PGs available in the distance of 2 metro stations from central metro, which is Girish park.

The infrastructure of the college is very old because it around 100 years old with high brand value, but still the buildings are well maintained with breezy windows and lush green plants in campus. The buildings have water purifiers and washrooms are also well maintained.

No campus life is there since students are busy with their academics. The professional course doesn't allow them to spare time to spend in campus. But the college union makes decent arrangements for fest, freshers’ party, and farewell. They give welcome roses and farewell roses to students coming in and passing out students respectively. The Quest Fest is the biggest fest of the college. This fest hosts various colleges to come and participate in various events like fashion show and many more.
