My Honest Review

Overall Rating
The main thing that attracted me is that this is a college is under Kerala Technological University which provides better facilities for electronics and communication branch. This is a government aided college, so the fee is also comparatively low. The admission process is mainly through an entrance test named KEAM. It is the main entrance exam that gives admission to various engineering colleges in Kerala.
 

Academics Rating
Our college strictly follows the syllabus of Kerala Technological University 2019 scheme. The curriculum is well structured and contains latest educational topics. The main branches here are CSE, ECE, EEE, AIML, DS, civil, and mechanical. The main eligibility for the admission is that we need to pass the KEAM entrance test. The plus two marks also play a major role in the admission process.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very good here. Some faculties are really very rude and very angry all the time. They treat us very badly some times. Especially in ECE department, some teachers are very rude. Some professors are very friendly and they help in any situation, even at night.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our infrastructure is very good. The facilities provided here are very good and better than most of the government colleges in Kerala. There are so many blocks in our college. Our college is spread across 50 acres and so many blocks and buildings are inside this campus. The lab facilities, the classrooms, and bathrooms are kept clean always.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is really fantastic and very good. Our college provides enough space to enjoy our college moments and to make new connections. Our college consists of around 3000 students. The main clubs in our college are NSS, IOT, IEEE, ASME, MMC, MADC, IEDC, SAE, etc. Our college has two main events in a year. One is Takshak and the other is Sanskriti. Both are very good events and during that time, the college is very enjoyable and is open full time.

    According to my personal experience, this is one of the best Engineering colleges in Kerala. The main attraction of our college is its infrastructure and beautiful campus. When I had cleared my entrance test, I am very confused about which college to choose, at that time I heard about this college and research more about it.     Overall Rating
    This college is listed among the top 10 engineering colleges in Kerala. Since it is a govt-aided college the fees are also affordable. To say about the campus, it is very environmentally friendly, with lots of trees and greenery. The arts clubs in the college including dance, and music were the best ones. Also, technical clubs like IEEE, SAE, etc are some of the best ones under KTU. The library facilities are also really good.... Read Full Review

    I joined Mar Athanasius College of Engineering Kothamangalam in the year 2019. My branch is electronics and communication engineering. The reason I chose this branch is because of interest towards electronics and anything related to electronics. I had applied to many colleges after my 12th exam for engineering. I got selected in colleges like FISAT, MBITS etc. but what made me choose MACE is because its government college which means lesser fees and experienced teachers. They have very good infr...     This institution is full enjoyment as well as a good opportunity for the future. The main attraction of Mar Athanasius College of Engineering is the placement procedure. About 90 percent of the total students are placed in college with an average package of 5LPA. The highest package was 10 LPA.
