Review of JECRC

Overall Rating
The Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre is an RTU affiliated institute. This was my prime reason to join this institute. Since this is a semi-government college, the fees are minimal and the degree is issued under the name of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. The college offers a collaborative environment.
 

Academics Rating
The primary mode of admission in Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre is through REAP. It is similar to JEE and its rank is also determined by performance in JEE. REAP has reservations for OBC, SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, Rajasthan students, and many more. The better your rank is, the better college and branch you get. The overall course curriculum is decided by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. But updating the curriculum regularly is not feasible as it requires lots of documentation since it is a semi-government college.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are certified and apply through LEEP. Even though the syllabus is outdated and theoretical, the faculty tries their best to give a vision about how to implement theoretical knowledge and make us industry fit and updated. Each lecture is 1 hour long and labs are 2-3 hours long.
 

Placement Rating
The Placement Cell provides Campus Recruitment Training (CRT) to students by the end of their 3rd year to prepare them placements and interviews. The students are trained by certified trainers on various topics like DSA, programming, interview preparations, and so on.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides hostels for both boys and girls individually. These can be booked during the admission of the student. The hostel fees also include the mess fee that provides three meals. The mess food is okay and the menu is changed regularly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has 5 blocks; 4 academic and 1 cultural block. Each department is allotted a particular block where all their classes and labs are conducted. Other than this, there are also 4 grounds present in the college infrastructure. 2 large grounds for cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball, and the other 2 for events and other sports.
 

Campus Rating
The college conducts an annual fest in the month of March, called as 'Renaissance'. It is a three day event full of fun, technical events, splash games, cultural events, and much more. It also invites celebrity artists each year for performing on the last day. The college also has many clubs like JECRC Incubation Centre, Avyaan, GDSC, Enigma, Khalsa Bhangra Crew, Atrangi, Soch, Zarurat, Aashayein, Suhasani, and many more.

  • JECRC College Admissions through JEE Mains Score

    As I am a student at JECRC, I can tell you that it is the best college if you are considering to pursue B.Tech from Jaipur. I chose this college as it is in the metro city and I wanted to pursue my higher studies. Jaipur is a great city, environmental wise. All the students that you are going to meet are good as they come clearing the JEE Mains with the average cutoff ranging from 85%-94% in JECRC. So don't worry about your batch mates....     It's a good college with less fee and with decent packages. Campus is well established and lush green. The director and other head authorities and teaching faculties are very supportive towards the students. Seniors are also very supportive towards their juniors. The campus placements are good.   • The biggest fest of JECRC: Renaissance.

    College life is good. The placement opportunities are so good and it also provides CRT (Campus Recruitment Training), which is very helpful for the students to get placed. They provide 25-30% discount on fees if paid earlier. Renaissance Fest is also organised that has different sports options. It is one of the greatest events of Jaipur.... Read Full Review

    In JECRC, placement opportunities are so good. Overall college is decent for Computer Science department and also for other branches. But, the number of students in other departments (ECE/EE/ME/CE) is relatively low.... Read Full Review
