One of The Best Colleges in Kolkata

Overall Rating
I'm a biotechnology student so most importantly; the laboratory of this college is well equipped. Every classroom is air conditioned and has smart board and projector facilities. Faculties of this college are very supportive and friendly. Campus of the college is very big having an open air auditorium for events, music room, game room, and many other facilities are available.
 

Academics Rating
Nowadays, biotechnology is a very good subject and has huge opportunities. Minimum 55% aggregate is required for admission in this college. Admission officers of this college are very helpful. Well known companies like coca cola, mother dairy, Tata Consultancy Services, and many food, dairy, and beverages companies come for placements. This college is very good for B.Sc. and M.Sc.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very supportive and helpful. They take classes regularly and clear out all the doubts even after the classes. They provide us notes of every single class and take tests for our improvement. They also give suggestions for our better future and make us industry ready. They help us in the entire laboratory and project work. All faculties are very good in this college.
 

Placement Rating
Almost 90% of the students of this college get placements from well known companies like Coca Cola, Mother Dairy, Tata Consultancy Service and many other food, dairy, and beverage companies.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of this college is very good. There is an open air auditorium for events, music room with lots of musical instruments, game room, badminton court, and basketball court are there. All facilities are available. A big canteen is there. We also have library with a variety of books.
 

Campus Rating
Every year cultural fest, farewell party, fresher's party, sports, Vasant Utsav, Rabindra Jayanti, Independence day, and Republic day are celebrated in this college. All the students can participate in these programmes. In the fest named Zash-N, well known artists are come to perform. Other than these, many other programs are also held in this college.

    SVIMS is one of the best institutes in Sonarpur. It has a great working ecosystem and also with very great opportunities regarding cultural activities. My main reason to join this institute is that I am very much interested into sports and co-curricular activities and provided with the best opportunities.
