Overall Rating
Doon University is famous for its greenery and beautiful campus. It is the only university in Uttrakhand which provides a wide variety of language courses. It has experienced and professional faculty staff and their teaching methods are perfect. University has a good NAAC grading of A+ which makes it the best choice for students.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing B.Sc economics (hons/with research) from Doon University. It is a 4 year undergraduate course which includes research. Eligibility for enrolling in this course is that the student must have passed 12th class with good marks. Students firstly have to fill online admission form available on university's portal and after that, they have to clear the merit based exam and then they'll be called for enquiry and admission will be given.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very professional and experienced. Theirs teaching methods are fabulous and behavior with the students is really good. Teachers always make an effort for making students future ready and job ready by providing them skills along with the knowledge of their subjects. University has the most qualified faculty staff for the well-being of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Despite being a government university, the placement rate here is good. Big company giants like Maruti Suzuki, Hitachi, etc. visit the campus for hiring students every year.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not a hosteller but my friend is living in the hostel and I'll share his experience. The hostel is good. The students there are well mannered, personal room is allotted, clean mess area, and there are strict rules for ragging so no one can do ragging in hostel as well as in the university.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university consists of many buildings. There are different types of buildings including administrative building, library building, lecture hall building, faculty building, composite lab, etc. University campus is widespread and these buildings add magnificent vibrancy to its looks. There is one cafeteria in the campus where students can enjoy their meal and snacks.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is perfect for making many good college memories. There are 4 clubs in the university i.e. Vatsalya club (debates), Dramebaaz club (acting), Natraj club (dancing), and singing club. The university organises amazing fests throughout the year and some of the important fests are Annual fest, Students fest, Diwali fest, Holi fest, and many more.

    Established in 2009, Doon University is the only and biggest Government University in Dehradun. It has a very lush green and huge campus, which helps provide a good atmosphere for learning.     'Doon University' will help you get over your guilt of failing to get admissions elsewhere. In integrated courses, it is tough to get admissions, but in B. Com or B.A. It's quite simple.
