College Review of SSCBS

Overall Rating
Overall, the college provides a conducive environment important for one's personality growth and development. The college provides a fast paced environment where one is continuously trying to grow and develop new skills. SSCBS is ranked number 1 undergraduate business school by India today. It also provides some of the best placements across Delhi University.
 

Academics Rating
Bachelor's of management studies is a reputed course in University of Delhi that too if you pursue it from SSCBS, it is like cherry on the cake. It covers major management subjects and one can chose from specialisations like finance and marketing. To be eligible for BMS at DU, English + maths/applied maths + General test combination is required in CUET. One cannot pursue BMS without having Maths.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at SSCBS is top notch. Every teacher has a complete and deep understanding of whatever subject they are teaching. They make sure that the syllabus is completed properly and also make sure that each student’s doubts are cleared. They also take enough tests and assignment and enable students to improve their internals.
 

Placement Rating
The placement at SSCBS is one of the best across all Delhi University colleges. The average package is 13.02 LPA and highest is 23 LPA. We see prominent companies during the recruitment process like BCG, D.E. Shaw, Bain Capability Network, McKinsey, L.E.K., Dabur, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
College does have a good hostel facility both for boys and girls but the seats are limited. Seats are allocated according to CUET score. The college fee is close to 160,000 for one year (check college website for correct figure).
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of SSCBS is top notch. The seven floor building has centralised air conditioning. Each class has a projector and a microphone and speaker system. The college has a canteen and two kiosks- Nescafe and Amul. We also have a good ground with a cricket pitch and volleyball court. We also have a library with good number of books of every subject. College also has a big auditorium and 4 lifts for students and 2 for staff. We also have a basement car parking.
 

Campus Rating
Being an off campus college, there is not to do much. Overall, college life is somewhat boring as the campus is small. Many students might get bored at times but there is so much going on be it academics, case competitions, and events; many hardly get any time to get bored. The crowd of the college is good. We have a good number of societies. CBS is famous for its society culture. We also have an annual cultural fest ‘Crescendo’ held every year.

    SSCBS is a very good college if one wants to excel in academics. Though its campus life is not remarkable when compared with North Campus but still the annual fests like Crescendo keep the mood on. My major reason for choosing this college over others was primarily its amazing placements and I wanted to pursue a finance specialised course which is offered here only. If one really wants to keep his academic and college life balanced and hand in hand, then they should definitely go for it.... Read Full Review

    Overall the college is the best college in terms of ROI, the faculty is amazing and helpful. The placement part which is the main criteria for any student to join the college is always maintained in the college. Although the campus life is not great here. You will be submitting your assignments every week and tests are also quite frequent. It's true to say that academics are treated very seriously in this college.... Read Full Review

    I chose this institute based on its crowd which is more competitive and the placement of this college is best among all the management colleges in undergrad colleges.
