Life at Symbiosis

Overall Rating
If one has the hunger and time to digest it all, they can experience something good or something bad. But one thing's for sure, it'll be something new. I chose this institute mainly because of its campus and teaching culture which gives a very fresh feeling. Every day when I am on my way to the campus, I look forward to learn new things.
 

Academics Rating
There are mainly three ways to enter this institute that I am aware of. Firstly, JEE, percentage requirements vary upon course and reservations. Secondly, SITEE (Symbiosis Institute of Technology Entrance Exam) again the grades vary from course to course. Finally, through state board exams. For further information you can visit the official website or call the number given there.
 

Faculty Rating
I'll be very honest about this one; the faculty is a bit tricky. On one side we have some really good professors that will help you whenever possible but on the other side there are those who stick to the rules too much, which could be a bit frustrating.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell at our institute. We also have students appointed as placement heads for each department. The faculty also brings offers from industries for internships and placements, after that it's up to the student whether they pursue the opportunity or not.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the institute also provides hostel facilities, but its priority based. The first and foremost priority is for the first years and especially those who came from other cities. Then the priority is academics based. The mess food is good enough to get by with both vegetarian and non vegetarian options provided. Festivals are also celebrated in the campus premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is great; it even exceeded my expectations when I first arrived at campus. It is filled with lush greenery which is a sight to see in the rainy season. Last year the institute also opened two new floors for Robotics and AML department. Apart from academics, the campus also has basketball court, football ground, cricket pitch, and badminton court.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, there's always something happening at the collage, it's up to the student whether he or she wants to participate in those events or just focus on studies. But these events also provide the opportunity to create new contacts in the industry and with peers. We also have fests from time to time in which students are encouraged to participate and come up with their own ideas.

    My overall experience at SIT has been incredibly enriching and transformative. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I was impressed by the vibrant learning environment, the diverse community, and the opportunities for personal and professional growth.   • Best engineering education and training institute of pune

    Our college is a part of Symbiosis International University which is established in the year 2008. I had decent experience on my institute because the faculties are very good but the curricular is very hectic. All are best in this college but we never get extracurricular activities.   • SIT is a happy place for students

    'Symbiosis' is one of the top names in education in India, but I came to know about this College while I was in the final year of my engineering. I am glad that I did because even though Covid came and placements were delayed a bit but the College made sure that all of us had placements come what may. We use the word bank as often as we use the word momentum because SIT was a bank where momentum never changed.     When I told everyone that I am going to Symbiosis many people told me that it is over hyped and whatever. Well, in my books it wasn’t as firstly, the institute enjoys a solo campus as it is affiliated to Symbiosis International University but engineering campus is no short of being called a campus to desire for life long.
