Review About All Aspects of SRM IST Campus

Overall Rating
First of all, it is one of the best colleges in this region and the faculty and the teaching methods are very promising. Teachers make efforts for the students so that they can understand the topic clearly. The sports facilities are also good; you get all the resources you need if you comply with their rules and regulations. The incubation center also helps students with project ideas to help them make their project a reality. Overall, the only concern of my life here in SRM Ghaziabad is hostel mess food which could be better.
 

Academics Rating
For B.Tech CSE, the eligibility is 10+2 with PCM and with 50% marks in PCM. They can also ask for your SRMJEE marks. The CSE course has many subparts in it as CSE core, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data science, cloud computing, and many more. I opted for artificial intelligence and machine learning because I was interested in studying artificial intelligence since the day ChatGPT came into action.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very good in terms of teaching you the skills you require and they will help you understand your subject topics very well. They are also very friendly and will help you get good marks and also guide you on how to live your college life. They also help you with your assignments and practical exams so that you can score good marks.
 

Placement Rating
The placement is good, not very good though. But in 2024, there has been a decrement of placements in every college. The placements are good if you have worked on yourself, you will definitely get hired if you have a good resume.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are very good. Electricity is available all the time and water is also available 24/7. The wardens are also good and they will help you out if you need any help, but the mess food is not up to the mark which should be made better.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good with all classes having AC. The study tables are of good quality with the smart boards in every classroom and the addition of Vendhar knowledge center (computer lab) where computer lab classes take place makes the college better. They have all systems with i7-12th gen and 16GB RAM and 4 Mac labs with M2 chip mac computers.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average here with not so much to enjoy, but as I said earlier, this college mainly focuses on studies hence, the fests and DJ nights which happen are great but apart from that, there is nothing special. But the open playgrounds are great to hang out with your friends, as well as green and red canteens which offer a variety of food to eat.

    As a 1st year student at SRM, so far my experience here has been great. I am a day scholar so I will not be able to provide information about Hostel, but from what I have heard from my friends, it is good enough.     As a 2nd year B.Tech student of SRMIST NCR campus, I have experienced plenty of things around this college. This university is overall very good and comes among the top universities in India. The Modinagar campus is also a good institute to pursue your degree from because the overall infrastructure and planning of the campus is good. If one fails to get the main campus, then they should definitely opt for the second best option which is SRM NCR campus.... Read Full Review

    I am from Punjab, so I was planning to go abroad. But due to rejection of passport, it was cancelled. I also took a drop year due to this. But at the end, I was left with only one option to take admission in a private college. I took papers for two colleges. One was for VIT and the other for SRMJEE. I passed both but wanted to choose CSE. So, I was only eligible for SRM. Now, I am at SRM Ghaziabad. My overall review will be 6/10. The reason is that the college is not up to the mark.
