Overall Rating
I chose GITAM for several reasons; their academics are very good, there is a wide range of programmes, the campus infrastructure is great, they have connections with placements, and have a separate Placement Cell. This college has tie-ups with leading companies, facilitating internships and placements for students. Here, graduates are well prepared for the professional world. I highly recommend GITAM to other students seeking a comprehensive educational experience.
 

Academics Rating
In GITAM, courses are offered across many departments like engineering and management to business development. Each programme has its own specific entry requirements. For engineering programme, the eligibility is passing 10 plus 2 with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as core subjects. Students have to give GITAM Admission Test (GAT) or other national examinations.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are from diverse backgrounds bringing the best academic experience and industry experience to the classroom. Many faculties hold Ph.D or masters degree from reputed institutions both in India and abroad. The teaching style at GITAM is dynamic and student centric. Faculty members employ methods such as lectures, discussions, group projects, and hands on activities to engage students and promote active learning.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, GITAM has a Placement Cell that assists students in securing jobs in the industry. The effectiveness of the Placement Cell depends on factors such as students’ skills, qualifications, and their efforts for utilising the Placement Cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, GITAM provides hostels for students for girls and boys separately with in the campus itself. The hostel life at GITAM is comfortable. The hostel provides facilities like small room with 2 beds, chairs, study table, 1 rack, internet facility, mess facility, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus contains two buildings for academics; one for B.Tech which is called as Shivaji Bhavan and one for degree which is Vishweshwaraya Bhavan. These blocks contain classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, administrative offices, and library. The classrooms are built with modern infrastructure to facilitate teaching, learning, and research activities. They often feature libraries, auditoriums, seminar halls, computer labs, etc.
 

Campus Rating
The campus attracts students from diverse backgrounds, regions, and cultures which create an inclusive environment, with a mix of local, national, and international students. There are students clubs and organisations which bring different passions and interests. These clubs cover areas such as sports, arts, entrepreneurship, culture, technology, and social causes. There are regular fests and events in our college but the sad thing is that we have to pay for it.

I have learnt a lot from the university like Theoretical knowledge, Communication skills, Practical Knowledge and I got good hands on experience in coding languages.     I have been lived and enjoyed the campus life of GITAM University. It is a feeling. Throughout the journey, exposure to extracurricular activities, broad enlarged scope of learning with multi dimensional disciplines is commendable. There are explicit options for personal growth and development through various clubs, for instance G-studio, Kalakriti, e-club, and what not.     GITAM University is good for pursuing a B.Tech degree. The college has good infrastructure. and I have joined here through lateral entry where I am continuing my studies from 2nd second year at GITAM University. I have referred my colleges to join but among that, I thought this is the best college. I have learnt many things after joining this college. In my opinion, our college is good with qualified lectures. And those lectures may help the students in achieving their goals.
