Review for Freshers

Overall Rating
My overall experience is good academics wise but in extracurricular, I would say its average; clubs are not that active, only some of them organise events and take part in other events, too. In academics they are really strict with variety of courses offered in a program.
 

Academics Rating
For getting admission in SRM, you need to have at least 65 percent in all the three subjects that is physics, chemistry, and maths and then you’ll have to give an exam SRMJEE. It was an online exam and we gave it from our homes. Even though there are students who got admission without even appearing for that exam. You can easily get CSE in this campus.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of this college are okay. They are supportive but some of them are really rude; most of them have Ph.Ds so yes, they have good knowledge of their subjects but most of them don’t teach well. So keep in mind that you would have to study on your own.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell in our college. All of the teachers from the Placement Cell are very supportive They would solve all your queries and try to help you in all possible ways. They are very supportive and also, they have much knowledge and they will try to help you in all possible ways.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostels inside our college. There are three blocks for girls’ hostels and three blocks for boys’ hostels. You have to pay around one lakh for three seater non AC room, which includes mess and around 1.5 lakhs for non AC two seater and then same for AC three seater, and around two lakhs for AC two seater room. The mess food is pretty average. Hostel rooms are also very average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Academic block is okay. You can’t expect much. We have a new area in our college, which is VKC which actually looks good so they’ll try to get you inside the college through those areas so that you can get impressed by the campus. It is very small but yes, libraries and labs are good.
 

Campus Rating
The size of campus is pretty average; it’s not a very big and there are many clubs in our college like for music. We have a club for dance and others club as well, so you can get in those club. If you have passion and talent, you cannot expect much from the college fest committee to organise fests but yes, there are many activities which happen in our college on a regular basis.

    As a 1st year student at SRM, so far my experience here has been great. I am a day scholar so I will not be able to provide information about Hostel, but from what I have heard from my friends, it is good enough. SRM comes as one of the top premium private universities of India. Infrastructure is top notch, with many facilities available, especially the library.... Read Full Review

    As a 2nd year B.Tech student of SRMIST NCR campus, I have experienced plenty of things around this college. This university is overall very good and comes among the top universities in India. The Modinagar campus is also a good institute to pursue your degree from because the overall infrastructure and planning of the campus is good. If one fails to get the main campus, then they should definitely opt for the second best option which is SRM NCR campus.... Read Full Review

    I am from Punjab, so I was planning to go abroad. But due to rejection of passport, it was cancelled. I also took a drop year due to this. But at the end, I was left with only one option to take admission in a private college. I took papers for two colleges. One was for VIT and the other for SRMJEE. I passed both but wanted to choose CSE. So, I was only eligible for SRM. Now, I am at SRM Ghaziabad. My overall review will be 6/10. The reason is that the college is not up to the mark.     Overall Rating
    First of all, it is one of the best colleges in this region and the faculty and the teaching methods are very promising. Teachers make efforts for the students so that they can understand the topic clearly. The sports facilities are also good; you get all the resources you need if you comply with their rules and regulations.
