Experience at Chaibasa Engineering College

Overall Rating
Overall, the college is okay because in this, teachers do not teach well, you have do things on your own. College does not provide any placement but you can afford this college because of less fee and you can also get scholarship. Also so you can easily study in this college in very low fees so overall, it is okay.
 

Academics Rating
I have taken B.Tech with computer science and engineering branch because through this course, you can get a job on your own through off campus placements so you won't have to depend on the college. I have paid 25000 rupees for 1 year. You can get scholarship also through e-Kalyan if you are from OBC, ST, or SC category. You can get this scholarship if you belong to Jharkhand.
 

Faculty Rating
I can say that here, you can't only depend on the teachers because they do not teach well and the teaching style is very old. You can't change your teachers if you don't like them because there are very less number of teachers here. Only programming teachers are the best that can actually make you learn something.
 

Placement Rating
No, there is no Placement Cell in our college. Every student is studying on their own and they get their job through the off campus placements. So you have to work hard if you join this college. You have to maintain your CGPA to get a job through the college.
 

Hostel Rating
There are three seater rooms in girls’ hostels. Hostels are not too good; washrooms are always dirty and there is no sanitization and cleanliness in the bathrooms. Rooms are good but food is not too good. It takes 3300 for one month of mess. According to the food, the fee is too much. Overall, electricity is always provided.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Buildings are good. Every different department has different labs. College buildings are old but well maintained. There are many class rooms for different years’ students. Campus is of 44 acres. Campus life is joyful, it is not as expected but average. You can explore greenery inside the campus. Boys’ hostel is also there. One big, beautiful seminar hall is also there.
 

Campus Rating
This is the state engineering college so you'll not have fun and opportunities like IITs and NITs but it is good in comparison to other private colleges. Every year, there is a big cultural fest and tech fest which is very joyful. You can take part and explore. Cultural fest is Zephyr and tech fest is Navkriti. These events are some of the biggest events in Jharkhand.

    Overall Rating
    Overall, the experience in this college is okay but mostly bad; the only good thing about this college is its fee. It’s low as compared to other B.Tech colleges. So, according to the fee, the experience is okay. There are very less number of faculties. Some of the faculties here are rude. Also, the campus is unsafe for girls and the hostel entry timing is 6:15 pm which is very early. The hostel food tastes so bad.     Fee of the college is very less as compared to the other engineering colleges and this is the most attractive thing about this college, and also the labs and classes are good.     Overall Rating
    The college campus is at Chaibasa – Jhinkapani Road at very scenic view. The campus is located at a small mountain so we can easily have a very beautiful view of the local villages and it is quite eye pleasing. One thing I must mention that students have to do a lot of hard work to reach the campus because the main gate is at the bottom of the mountain and the campus building is at the top of the mountain....
