I am very passionate about engineering since childhood and have keen interest in technology; this passion and honest dedication helped me choose engineering and after appearing in JEE mains 2022, I got a chance to take admission in this state level engineering college. This college gives opportunity to choose engineering in different branches like civil, electrical, CS, and its specialisation.

The course is very industrially targeted. All the topics taught by faculties are very relevant and one can apply all the theoretical aspects into reality. The projects and assignments given to us are just like real world problems and after solving such assignments, one can get the confidence that he or she can tackle real world problems also. The methodology of teaching is also very smooth and nice, smart boards are installed in classes from where teachers visualise the concepts and help students to visualise the theoretical portion of the syllabus.

Teachers are very well experienced and knowledgeable. All of them have cleared BPSC teacher level examination and interview before joining. Some of them are IIT/NIT graduates also. Teachers use smart boards or digital boards to visualise the theoretical concepts and also conduct weekly quizzes to keep students engaged in learning. Special classes are organised for students and for solving doubts, different Whatsapp groups have been created where students can ask their doubts.

The placement rate of the college is very poor and expected average placement is around 4 LPA. The companies like Byju’s, TISCO, Academor, and some other small startups visit here to hire students for different role like business sales executive offer, students mentor, etc. Total number of students hired is around 40-50 every year and rest of the students go for off campus placements.

There are total 5 hostels for students who can opt as per their choice. Among 5 hostels, 3 are reserved for boys hostel and 2 are reserved for girls. Each building is at some distance from the other. To get allotted a hostel, one needs to write an application to the principal and pay the amount of 7800 rs per semester. In every single room, 3 students are allowed to live and for each student, separate bed and study table are given.

The infrastructure of the building is very average. The campus area is prevailed in 35 acres in which there are 5 hostels, one academic building, and different apartments for faculties. There is a play ground for playing games like cricket, football, volleyball, etc. Even inside the hostel, there is one small mini ground and common room where you can enjoy in your free time. College is surrounded by greenery so you will always get fresh air.

The campus life is average here, it's just good to go, but you won't enjoy much. You will get a feeling like your school days. There is rarely some tech event or hackathon organised by the college. Only few events like cultural fest or annual function are celebrated but only once in a year. However, the students and study environment is good inside the college. You will have a library where students do group study and prepare for other government jobs along with engineering.
