Student Life at JIS College of Engineering

Overall Rating
JIS College of Engineering is a good college among many colleges in Kolkata and provides many courses for B.Tech, M.Tech, biomedical courses, pharmacy course, and so on. Infrastructure is good and placement is decent. Campus is good. This college conducts many extracurricular activities like sports, gaming, drawing, and competitions related to these activities.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirements for this college are 10 and 12 mark sheets, WBJEE ranking, and Aadhar card. Eligibility for entering is WBJEE ranking and 10 and 12 passing marks above 65 percent. This college provides B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, BME, and so on. This college is good in every aspect, whether it's infrastructure or placement.
 

Faculty Rating
I'm a student of CSE branch and my teachers are very nice to me and others also. All teachers come from good backgrounds. Their teaching style is something that I had never experienced in my life. They all are good. Lectures are very good and understandable, if there is anything that creates doubts, they happily resolve it.
 

Placement Rating
Placement in JIS College of Engineering is quite decent. If your academic performance is good, you get a good placement from college.
 

Hostel Rating
JIS College Of Engineering provides students decent hostels. Girls and boys hostel are separated. There are no issues in water and food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
This college has one main building which is quite big, one pharmaceutical building, one BCA and BME building, and one mechanical building. College has one big canteen, one café, one library, one auditorium, and many labs related to students’ needs for their studies like chemistry, physics, electrical, computer programming, and so on.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life of JIS College of Engineering is nice. This college held 2 major events; one is tech fest and the other one is cultural fest. Inspiring students to not only study but participate in all sorts of activities for character and personality development and gaining experiences. College has many clubs on all sorts of topics.
