Insights from BHU

Overall Rating
This is a popular central university. It is a prestigious college and provides good knowledge, and there are lots of extracurricular activities in the college which shape the overall personality of a person. All the professors are well educated and they teach us very well. Besides the syllabus, what we study covers 70 percent of the UPSC syllabus.
 

Academics Rating
All the professors are well educated and they teach very well. Besides the social science course, the syllabus covers almost seventy percent of the UPSC syllabus. They also develop the overall qualities of an officer. For taking admission in the social science course, one will have to give CUET and will have to give the general and language test. For science, you have to only give the exam of the subjects you studied in class 12th. It is a prestigious college.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are good. They are well educated and cooperative, as well. They teach us so well and make us understand everything. But due to lack of time, they teach fast. During our time, the admission process was delayed and it naturally shortened our semester time period and hence, we had really very less time to complete our syllabus. Besides that, all the things are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell. It makes students independent.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has residential facility. But the hostel is not allotted to everyone. The hostel is given only to those who score good marks.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good and enhanced with natural beauty. There is a separate building for each and every faculty. The academic blocks are too good. Different blocks for each subject have different faculty. We have also access of two different libraries and health centers, as well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is too good, especially MMV which is safe and secure for girls. The crowd is also rich in diversity. There are lots of clubs for activities. There are various extracurricular activities organised on a regular basis. Various workshops also give good exposure to the students.

    As we all are aware that Banaras Hindu University is globally recognized university and one the prestigious university in India. The most important thing in making it so is the Academics part. As a student of Commerce department in BHU, I can tell you about my department only. Though it's not the best but I can confidently say that our faculty can easily make into top 10 institutes for Commerce students in India, especially for the B.com (Hons.).     The great legacy of the university known as Banaras Hindu University. It is one of the best University in Asia and the largest residential too. My college was Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) and I chose it due to the fact that it had an excellent reputation and it had one of the most important things called a PG quota which helps a lot in future PG exams as well....     BHU ranks 5th in India's top central university while Institute of Agricultural Sciences ranks 4th in top agriculture and allied sector. Agriculture has much scope and BHU gives the opportunity to explore this field. Government jobs, corporate jobs, banking, research and many opportunities are offered to the students of at BHU.
