Overall Rating
It has good and huge infrastructure. Faculties are also very supportive and kind. It provides all needed facilities like sports ground, clubs, auditorium, discussion room, etc. It provides industry related curriculum so I prefer this institute instead of other colleges. It is government institute so my fee is very less as compared to other private colleges.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in computer branch for BE which is worth it. It has a very huge department with a large number of faculties with great knowledge. I took admission through GUJCET exam, high rank is required to secure admission here. Combined merit of Gujarat board and GUJCET is counted. There is 5% seat reservation for admissions through JEE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties are very supportive. They help me in my personal projects. They always guide for career, person life, professional development, etc. They all are masters pass out and most have Ph.D degrees. They teach with practical examples so we can easily learn. They have in-depth knowledge about subjects.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the institute has a Placement Cell which provides placements in related facilities in very high numbers. It will help to crack placement interviews and guide for exams also. Highest package is 13 LPA and average package is 6 LPA. Almost 98% placement is there in computer branch.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the institute has both old and new hostels for boys and girls. Old hostel is in very bad condition but the new hostel is very good. There is mess also available in the hostel which provides food at very reasonable prices. Hostel has indoor games and water coolers.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College was established in 1949 with a very huge campus. All departments entail very large spaces. Computer department also contains labs, classes, auditorium, etc. Campus has a very old department block. All labs have AC. All basic amenities are available in the department. Campus has all needed facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Campus has a very large number of intakes for different branches. Every year, one Annual fest Lakshay is organised which contains 10-15 events and lasts for two-three days. The college has many clubs like NSS, NCC, sports, adventure, etc. All celebration days are celebrated in the college campus. There are clubs for automobile and robotics.

    This institute is government aided and affiliated with GTU and hence it has very nominal fees and its placement and campus are also good. Students here are also very helpful in many ways.     L.D College of Engineering is Government Engineering College in Gujarat and is one of the oldest and Prestigious College in the State. I have spent my 4 years in this college and it's really worth it and the placement here are quite nice.     Overall very great experience and good campus life at L.D. College of Engineering, classroom and labs are very clean. And facilities in labs are well equipped. Sports facilities like cricket ground, badminton ground etc. where students can play.   • LDCE was an amazing experience

    I studied at LDCE from 2012 to 2016. LDCE is as good as any private institute in Gujarat such as Nirma University. Thus, if you have got admissions here means big congratulations to you and your family as it’s a remarkable achievement. It is one of the oldest institutes of Gujarat as it was established way back in 1948. The best part was that college has many nationalized groups working within such as NSS and NCC.
