Overview of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi

Overall Rating
Overall, the infrastructure is good; the campus is not too big but it delivers the basic needs of a college. It lacks in sports a bit. Overall, the faculty is okay, but not too good. The placements are also average. Canteen is medium sized but the food is good. There is also a mother dairy booth in addition to the canteen. People are too friendly. The overall experience is good.
 

Academics Rating
It is an institute of technology, meaning it is made for engineering. It offers a B.Tech programme in many streams like computer science, IT, AI-ML, AI-DS, ECE, EEE, etc. To opt for this college, you must have taken non-medical science in 12th and after that, JEE Mains exam is compulsory. You can also take admission with ease if you are a Sikh minority student.
 

Faculty Rating
The overall faculty experience is above average. Teachers are good in their work and also, they are friendly in nature. Apart from teachers, the other staff members like in the reception, canteen, exam cell, and placement cell are also good at their work. Most of the teachers have done a Ph.D in their respective subjects. Although, not all the teachers are good at teaching but the overall experience is decent.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell which can sometimes help students get placed but not all the time.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel in our campus, but there are PG's available near the college. Rental flats are available, too.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The overall infrastructure is above average. To be precise, it is not very big but there are departments for almost every branch in the college due to which the campus doesn't actually feel small. The college lacks in sports section as there is no place for outdoor sports like football, basketball, etc. Although, there is a gym in the college.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is average. The basic events are held in college like hackathons, festive events like Diwali, Lohri, Gurupurab, rangolis, and society events. But it lacks in some areas like fests. Since 2020, no fest has been conducted in the college. Also, the college mostly runs societies’ events and not on its own.

    The faculty of our college is professional and knowledgeable and teachers even took full effort to teach class 11,12th concepts as well in our first year. They don’t ever refuse to help anyone.     Overall Rating
    GTBIT is a college affiliated to GGSIPU approved by AICTE and HRD. It is located in Rajouri Garden. The nearest metro station is Subhash Nagar. It is a very decent college but not in terms of sports. For education purpose, it is good. There are numerous societies which students can join to enhance their skills.     Overall, our college is a tier 3 college. It’s a semi government type of college. So, if you are not getting admission in other better colleges, it's fine to take admission here. Also, the fee is less, you can consider that also. One more point is that there is reservation for Sikh students so Sikh students can get admission even at a lower rank.... Read Full Review

    The guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology is a Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University affiliated and is a Sikh community college. There's a reservation for the Sikh community in this college. My overall experience through college can be described as 3/5. My 1.5 years of college went online however.
