Overall, our college is a tier 3 college. It’s a semi government type of college. So, if you are not getting admission in other better colleges, it's fine to take admission here. Also, the fee is less, you can consider that also. One more point is that there is reservation for Sikh students so Sikh students can get admission even at a lower rank.

The college is a technology college, which means it only provides B.Tech program. For entry in this college, there is a centralised counseling of IP University in which there are many colleges and GTBIT is one of them. Also for counseling, you must have given JEE Mains exam. Eligibility criterion is as per standard input B.Tech eligibility. So, if you thinking of taking admission in this college then go ahead.

About faculty, I would say that some of them have very good knowledge about their subject and are also interested in teaching the students except some. They teach students every single concept in which students may face difficulties and also provide notes but there are some teachers also who are interested in teaching only to complete the syllabus. Mostly, faculties are from IPU University only i.e. they have passed out from IPU only. But there are some IIT graduates also.

Of course, we have a Placement Cell at our institute but placement is not good enough; they can provide you with an average package of 7 LPA but presently, this package is also not being offered due to the industry downfall of recruitment. So overall, they can provide you with companies who can offer you a package of up to 18 LPA but it's upon you to acquire the jobs.

There is no hostel in our college but there are PGs available close to the college. You can contact PG owners and book a PG room for yourself accordingly.

Our college was established in 1999 so the infrastructure is of that time only. There are four blocks in the college. But if you are dreaming of a lush green campus, then it's not for you. It is present in 5 acres of land. But the connectivity of the college is good; it is present in Rajouri Garden and from the college, you can easily find metro connectivity. So overall, the infrastructure is just sufficient to provide you with the basic amenities required for you to do B.Tech.

In our college, there are many societies performing various activities. We have dance society, natya society, singing society, GDSC, IEEE, gaming society, and many more. Every week, some or the other activity is being performed in the college and there are also ethnic days on which students come wearing ethnic clothes to the college, it is celebrated once or twice a month. Fests used to be organised every year in college before Covid but after Covid, no fest has happened till now in our college. But campus life is good if you engage yourself in different societies.
