I chose this university, because of less availability of good colleges and universities in the Garhwal region. With a good infrastructure and all the facilities, surrounded by mountains and in the lap of Alaknanda river, it attracts students to choose it. Others should go for this university because of good infrastructure, good faculty, and the best campus.

Specific information about B.Sc is that you can choose two core subjects which will be your main subjects and then you can pursue your masters in one subject from your two core subjects of graduation. Entry requirements for this course are that you have to give CUET entrance test and submit an online application on the official site of HNBGU. If your name comes in the merit list, you will be informed by the university. My motive for enrolling in this program was that I wanted to do B.Tech in CSE but, I was not shortlisted in the merit of B.Tech in HNBGU, then I decide to pursue B.Sc in computer science and mathematics as core subjects, so that I can get admission in M.Tech in future.

Faculty members are friendly and well mannered. All professors are very good at their subjects and they are well educated in their fields. All are mostly doctorate in their subjects, which helps the students to understand the topics easily, because professors teach in a good manner, most students can catch the information and logic behind the topic.

Yes, we have a Placement Cell at our institute. But the sad reality of this university is that there is a lack of placement and internship opportunities. Very less number of MNCs and companies come to the university; the only placements are for professional courses in this university. The average placement of this university is 5 LPA.

Yes, residential facilities are available in our institute for both girls and boys. Hostel students are friendly and well mannered. Facilities in hostel are also good. There is good food. There are facilities like fan, electricity, Wi-Fi, etc. All the necessities are provided to the students at affordable prices.

In the campus, all the departments have their own separate buildings, with all facilities such as labs, common hall, air conditioning, and all other necessities. Also, digital classes are installed in many departments. Buildings are new with a good view. Structure of building is well maintained with modular designing.

About 3000+ students are studying in this university from all across the India; most of them are from Uttarakhand. Campus life is good for students. Also the climate is good; not too hot, not too cold. Fests are held here periodically. University offers many sports activities to students with all equipments. Also, there is student politics. They love join to politics and conduct rallies.
