My overall experience here is pretty good. I wasn't able to get good marks in JEE so I opted for this college. So I would definitely recommend you if you're not getting a good government college then go for this one. If you have money and you can survive the environment of south then you should go for KTR campus otherwise go for this one.

For getting admissions in B.Tech in SRM you need to have at least 65% in each subject that is physics, maths, and chemistry in class 12th. They conduct an exam named SRMJEE for which I have paid 1300 something during my year and there were so many students who got admissions without even appearing for that exam. So just chill you'll get admissions here.

Faculties are good. They would not give many efforts for you at last you would have to do everything by yourself but some of the teachers are very sweet and they do their job honestly. Most of the teachers are Ph.Ds and have good knowledge about their subject but they don't have the skills of delivering their knowledge.

Yes, we do have a Placement Cell and they are very helpful. Most of the teachers in the Placement Cell are highly knowledgeable and will definitely give you right advice.

In SRM, hostel facility is good here but room is not good. If you have good friends in this college then only your college life as well as hostel life will be good. In SRM there are 3 blocks for girls hostel and 3 blocks for boys hostel too. Hostel and mess charges range from 1.5 lakh to 3 lakh according to the rooms whether you're going for AC room or non-AC room.

The overall infrastructure of SRM is good but the size of the campus is small. There is an academic block here and there is a VKC Hall in SRM which is beautiful. Basically I personally cannot describe the beauty of VKC. It is so beautiful. There is a library in SRM from where each and every book is present there .so if you face any difficulty related to your course or subject then you went there and find a good book and clear your doubts. I personally do the same. There are total 3 canteens present in this campus i.e. red canteen, green canteen, and last but not the least yellow canteen and all these canteen present outside the academic block. One cafe is there in SRM which is name as cafe de latte and this cafe is present in inside the academic block.

Overall campus life is good here. There are many clubs: for acting, for music, for dance, and for poetries and many more so if you want to practice your passion you can try to get in these clubs. Crowd of this college is very good as people from different states come in this college and you would experience a diverse environment and that experience would be very beneficial.
